Chapter-5

Kai's (POV)

I woke up a little fast from our nap. I looked at the digital clock beside my bed, on the table that it was 2:45 pm. I tried to climb off the bed without waking Kyungsoo up but it failed. He stirred and woke up, rubbing his eyes cutely. And I wonder how can he be so cute without even trying. "Good evening baby." I greeted. "Good evening alpha." He greeted back cheerfully. "What time is it alpha?" He asked. "It's already 2:45 pm." I said and he looked a little panicked.

Kyungsoo's (POV)

Mom and dad must be freaking out. Our classes ends at 2:30 pm and I am still not home. I quickly got off the bed standing in front of Kai. "Alpha call my parents and tell them about me they must be really worried." I said and he nodded. I gave him my mom's phone number. He took his phone out of his school bag which was placed on his study table and he dialed the number.

Author's (POV)

Kyungsoo's mother picked up at the fourth ring.

Mrs.Do: hello.
Kai: hello. Is this Kyungsoo's mother.
Mrs.Do: yes and who is this?
Kai: oh I am Kim Kai. I am your son's alpha. The thing is Kyungsoo is with me right now ma'am. Something happened at school and it would be nice if you could come to my house now and please don't forget to bring some suppressants.
Mrs.Do: okay we will come fast. Please do text me your address Kai.

She ended the call. And Kai text his address. "Come on let's eat something. You must be pretty hungry." Kai said. He led Kyungsoo downstairs. They saw Kai's mother making some foods in the kitchen. "Ohh you two are here. Come on your food is ready. You two must be really hungry." Mrs. Kim said lovingly. She was already starting to like Kyungsoo because he had a soft spot for cute things and his son's mate, Kyungsoo, is more than just cute. Kyungsoo had a really feminine look and it just made him cuter. She admits that Kyungsoo is really cute and handsome more than any other male omegas she had seen.

Kyungsoo's (POV)

Me and Kai sat down on the chairs. Kai's mother served our foods on the plates and gave it to us and we started eating. And I smiled at the taste of the food. "The food taste great Mrs.Kim." i said smiling sincerely. "Awww thank you son. But don't call me 'Mrs.Kim' you can just call me 'eomma' or something I don't mind." Mrs.Kim said. "Ok then I can call you 'mom' right." I asked. "Of course." She said. We were eating silently after that but the silence was broken when someone who look a lot like Kai, came running to us with two other girls behind him.

They sat in front of us. "I can't believe Kai got the cutest male omega here." The guy said. "Of course my mate is the cutest. By the way Soo, these stupid clowns are my idiotic siblings. Chaeyon, Yoona and Taemin." Kai said pointing to each of his siblings. "Aww kai you know you love us even if you call us 'idiotic'" taemin said making me laugh and in an instant Taemin is patting my head saying words like 'cute' 'innocent' and others. But all the actions stopped when I heard a growl which clearly came from Kai.

I looked at my side and saw that Kai's eyes were golden. Kai's mother quickly stood up walking towards Taemin and whacked him hard on the head. "Yah Taemin do you want to die in your brother's hands. His omega is nearing his heat and every alpha is a threat to his mate and it makes him possessive snd over-protective. Don't forget that you are an alpha and even if you are his brother and already have a mate, you haven't mated with your omega so you are still a threat to his omega." She scolded Taemin. I grab Kai's hand trying to calm him down a little. ''I am okay alpha. Don't worry." I wishpered and he instantly relaxed.

I look at Taemin and felt bad because he looks like a kicked puppy after 'mom' gave him a scolding. "Sorry Taemin hyung. Are you okay?" I said. "No I should be the one saying sorry Kyungsoo. I was acting stupid." Taemin said smiling. Kyungsoo smiled back. They ate their food in silence after that. "Mom Kyungsoo's parents will be here. Where is dad?" Kai asked. "Don't worry son. Your dad must be here soon." She answered. And Kai nodded.

After we finished eating, I helped my new mom in washing the dishes. She said no but I insisted. So we did it together while talking about some things. She told me many things about Kai. It was fun knowing more about my alpha. I found out that he was one year older than me. And loved dancing a lot. And in turn, I told her about my family and myself. My love for singing and others.

Mrs.Kim's (POV)

I can tell by the way Kyungsoo talks that he has a pure heart and that he was forgiving and good at making important decisions. He is the perfect future luna every pack would want. I look back and saw Kai sitting on one of the chair but I could tell that his mind was somewhere. He was smiling while looking at Kyungsoo. My son is whipped already.
After the dishes were done, Kai quickly dragged Kyungsoo towards his room, upstairs but not before asking me to call them downstairs when Kyungsoo's parents came. I smiled at the way Kai was acting. He was smiling more and as a mother it made me happy to see my son so happy and content.
