Nathans POV

I had just left Meredith to go see Megan, who was found alive after being kidnapped and tortured for 10 years. I know I should be thinking about Megan, but I cant get my mind off of Meredith, the women I fell in love with about a year ago. I arrived at the hospital where Megan is...

"Hey is she here yet?" I asked Amelia 

"Yeah Owens in with her now. You can go in if you're ready," she said 

I walk in to see Megan and Owen talking. She has a lot of question about how medicine has changed and how Owen has changed. Then she gets to me and asked me how I found myself at Grey-Sloan. That's when she asks the question I've been dreading.

"Have you met anyone?" Megan asks 

I just sat there not knowing how to answer the question, my mind still on Meredith.

"I'll take that as a yes." she continues 

"Do you love her?" she asks 

We sit there in silence for a minute before I answer 

"Yes I do love her, but I don't know if she loves me." I continued and told her the whole story from hooking up before the wedding to Maggie to the plane.

"Have you told her you love her?" Megan asks 

"Well no," I say confused about why she cares about my love life.

"Nathan listen to much has happened between us we aren't getting back together, I can promise you that she loves you. you need to go tell her how you feel before it's too late."

"OK I'll go, I'll tell her how I feel. Megan, I do still care about you and always will you know that right?" 

"Of course I know that now go or I'll have to kick you out," she said with a joking voice 

   at Merediths house an hour later    

I knock on the door, she looks half drunk from what I can see.She opens the door shocked that I'm here instead of with Megan. I explain that Megan told me to come and be with her, she thinks she's my rebound. I tell her I love her and have been since I first saw her. we sit in an awkward moment of silence. I assume she doesn't love me back, so I turn around and start walking to my car when I heard her call my name. I turned around and before I knew it she was wrapped around my waist, we starred at each other for a few seconds before she leaned in and placed a gentle but passionate kiss.

"I love you, Nathan," she said before leaning into another kiss. This is the women I was going to spend the rest of my life with, every morning I will wake up to this women and I will tell her she beautiful and I will call her mine. For as long as she will let me. 

No one's POV 

They kissed for a little bit longer then Meredith asked him to come inside and well you can guess what happened next.
