At the OBGYN appointment

Merediths POV

"OK, Meredith you ready to have a look at your baby?" 

"Yeah, i guess"

she put the gel on my stomach and moved the wand around 

"Meredith Im so sorry"

"What,whats wrong with my baby? Arizona? Tell me!"

"I hate to say this but it was just a false positive.. it happens all the time. I truly am sorry"she said is she slowly walked out of the room leaving me and Nathan alone.

We sat there in silence for a minute before i broke the silence....

"I'm so sorry, its me and my hostile uterus...i should've known it was to good to be true."

"Hey, you and your hostile uterus are perfect...it just mean that we have to keep trying which i for one am looking forward to." Nathan said with a smirk

"Shut up this is not the right place to make me laugh"i responded 

"Ok well are you ready to go to work?" he asked 

"yes, anything to get my mind off of things" I responded

Skip 2 days 

Nathans POV

Meredith has been down lately so i asked Alex and Jo to take the kids for the night and was gonna surprise Meredith with a grand gesture.

She was working till 8:00 tonight its 8:00 in the morning so i had some time to get ready and prepared. I was going reenact my proposal to her. I went and got all the stuff i needed such as the roses and suit then i went to the jewelry store and bought her a necklace simple but elegant, like her.The twelve hours went by fast before i knew it she was coming in the door. 

It was showtime---
