Still Nathans POV

She walks in the room. 

"what are you doing?and why are you doing whatever you're doing?" She asks me 

"Just let me do this please"I stated cautiously 

"Ok continue" 

"Meredith, I knew since the day I saw you by the OR board that you were the one, the one I wanted to marry, to have kids with, to grow old with and die in your arms. When I Proposed to you it was in this very room it was perfect. I asked you to marry me and you said yes without hesitation. awe planned our wedding, when the day came it was the happiest and scariest day of my life. he I was standing in front of a beautiful, strong, caring mother,friend, sister and now wife. never in my mind would I have thought that I would meet someone as good as you. you helped me when Megan was found, you have been there for me for better or for worse. and now it's my turn to be there for you, I know you think it is your fault for not being pregnant but it's not. I know you think that I am mad or disappointed in you and your hostile uterus but im, not I love you and I will do everything I can to show you."

 I reach into my pocket and pull out the necklace 

"So Meredith Grey will you give me the joy and honor of letting me-"

I was interputed by her phone ringing 

"Hello.....What?!?How?!?....is she ok??.... I'm on my way now" I heard her say on her side of the conversation

"Meredith, what happend?"

"It's Maggie.....She was in a car crash" She said breaking down into tears

I immediately hugged her and held her trying to sooth her

not even 3 minutes later she pulled away and said she had to go to the hospital

"Let me drive you"

"Nathan im fine really"

" no youre not you just found out you arent pregnant and your sister was in a car accident. Im driving you there"

"fine" she said not having time to argue
