Kara was standing in front of Lena, who was panicking. "Breathe, Lena." Kara said sweetly. Lena nodded and breathed in and out. There was this think Kara always did when Lena was nervous. She would stand in front of her and hold both of her hands, breathing in and out with her. "Where did you learn that?" Lena asked quietly. "Alex." Kara smiled.

Lena was supposed to start her rally in two minutes. The crowd had about 250 people in it, all of them were waiting for her. She was extremely nervous, but she was glad Kara was there with her. Lena took a deep breath, and walked to the podium, with Supergirl three feet behind her. When the crowd saw her, about three quarters of it cheered. The other quarter stayed quiet.

"Hello," Lena started "When I moved to National City, nobody trusted me. Everyone thought I was going to be like my brother. I never have been like my brother and I never will be. Everyone though I was a threat, and many people still think so. I don't blame them for thinking that way. When I was younger, I looked up to Lex. He was my friend. Probably my best friend. He used to be warm and kind. Now he's cold and mean. I moved to National City to make a name of myself outside of my family. That's what I've been doing and that's what I will continue to do."

Lena continued her speech for twenty minutes. When she finished, she held her breath. She didn't realize until she and Supergirl were off away from the podium. Supergirl threw her arms around Lena happily. "I'm so proud of you, Lena." Lena smiled brightly, "Thank you, Supergirl."

On Lena's way out, the press began swarming her and she lost Supergirl. She looked around calmly, not answering questions. Lena finally saw Supergirl at the back of the group mouthing sorry to her. Lena smiled and shook her head, making her way through the crowd to get to Supergirl.

"Sorry about that." Supergirl tucked hair behind her ear. "It's alright." Lena replied.

~Time Skip - 2:30~

"Have you guys figured out who CADMUS is targeting yet?" Kara asked Alex and Winn. "Not yet." Winn sighed. "We've been looking through empty files for four hours and nothing!" he groaned. "If we don't figure it out, someone is going to get shot tomorrow. An innocent person." Kara huffed.

"Kara, you're going to just have to go out there and knock the guy out before he pulls the trigger." Alex said. Kara pulled a chair out and sat next to them, "There has to be something though."

Winn shook his head, "If there was something we probably would have found it by now." Kara wanted to hang her head on the desk, although it wouldn't hurt her. She felt a lump grow in her throat. "Excuse me." Kara said quietly, before walking to the training room.

Once the door was closed behind her, Kara punched a block of concrete and broke it. "Damn it!" she yelled. "Stupid... CADMUS!" she broke another block. "And Lillian!" and another, and another.

Alex stormed in before Kara could break another, "Kara stop!" she walked over gave her a hug. Kara sobbed into Alex's shoulder. "It's not your fault, there's nothing we can do." Alex said quietly, rubbing her sister's back. "Do you want to go to my apartment?" Alex stopped rubbing her back and looked at Kara. The younger woman nodded and hugged her tighter.

Alex unlocked the door to her apartment, with Kara close behind her. Inside Maggie was sitting on the sofa watching CSI. Maggie looked at Kara worriedly, "Aww, what's wrong Lil Danvers?" Kara threw herself on the sofa and buried her face in Maggie's shirt.

~ Lena's Office~

Lena texted Kara, letting her know she would not be home for a while because she had to make a presentation about an idea she had to show the board. It constantly bothered her that she couldn't make decisions on her own.

Lena smiled when she saw three dots appear on her phone.

Kara: Don't worry about it, Lena. I'm sleeping at my apartment tonight, so make sure you get some rest.

Lena felt a bit left out, but she wasn't sure what she was being left out of. Usually whenever Kara slept at her apartment she would invite Lena.

Lena: Okay, Darling. Make sure you sleep well. I love you.

Kara: I love you too, Lena.

Lena furrowed her eyebrows, and chose to ignore it. She was probably with Alex.

Lena spent the night working until 12:30, when she forced herself to go home and sleep. She called Jess, who didn't answer so she left her an answer to clear her schedule until 9 AM on the next day.
