Kara ran into Alex's apartment, only to ruin a make out session.

"Kara!" Maggie grumbled. When she looked at the younger girl, tears were streaming down her face.

Alex gave Kara an empathetic look, before patting Maggie's outer thigh, and getting up to give Kara a hug.

"What's wrong, Kar?  Is it Lena?" Alex wrapped her arms around her sister. Kara nodded and sobbed softly. "She's mad at me."

Alex turned to look at Maggie, who sighed.

When they were all seated on the sofa, and Kara finished explaining, Alex wasn't completely sure how to fix this. "I say you give her some space. Yeah, she'll be mad but, Lena will forgive you. If you want, me or Maggie can stay with her for a while and talk with her."

Kara shook her head, "No, I don't want to bother you guys anymore than I already have. I screw up everything."

"I'll go take care of her." Maggie stepped it "We can't leave her alone." Alex gave her a grateful look and kissed her on the cheek.

Maggie left before giving Kara a chance to object.

Kara's Apartment (Where Lena Is)

Maggie unlocked the door and walked inside. She dropped her bag on the kitchen island, and walked over to the living room, where Lena was.

Lena was laying down a bed that served as a hospital bed. It had most of the same functions, including a  heart monitor.

Lena looked like she had been crying for a long time. Not to mention her hair was a mess.

Maggie made eye contact with Lena and she instantly felt sad.

"Hey, Little Luthor." The older woman smiled sadly.

"Hey." Lena barley whispered. She didn't feel like talking much, but felt the tiniest bit better that Maggie was with her.

Maggie sat next to Lena, but kept her distance.

"Did you know, too?" Lena closed her eyes and sighed, trying not to drown in her feelings.

"No. I just knew something was going on at the DEO. Alex usually tells me stuff after it happens."

Lena clenched her jaw and nodded. Lena opened her eyes and looked at Maggie again.

"If it ever crossed Kara's mind that it was you who was going to be shot, she would've taken you across the world. And I know, it's hard not to be mad at her, she should've told you, but she didn't want you to stress over it. I know it might be hard for you to believe, but Kara loves you Lena."

At this point, Lena burst into tears. Lena sat up and practically threw herself into Maggie's arms. "It's okay, Lena." Maggie whispered.

Lena felt safe with Maggie. It was different than when she hugged Kara, yes she felt safe with Kara, but it was different. She couldn't describe it.

Maggie and Lena talked for for a few hours until Lena got tired. "Are you still mad?"

"Barely," Lena smiled and yawned "thanks."

"I'm just glad I helped. But you're okay sleeping with Kara. Or near her? Because if you're not I could stay until the morning and have Kara sleep at Alex's apartment." Maggie reached out to tuck a stray strand of Lena's hair behind her ear.

"Maggie, you have helped more than enough. I will be fine sleeping with Kara, and I'm sure you'll have more fun with Alex than you will with me." Lena smirked "I will be perfectly fine here by myself."

"Fine." Maggie paused and smiled to herself "But I'm staying until Kara gets here."

Lena smiled, "Okay, bossy pants."

Maggie fake gasped, "I'm not bossy."

"Said no one ever." Lena snickered.

Maggie called Alex, and soon Kara was on her way.

Maggie hugged Lena goodbye and left. Kara was standing about ten feet from the doorway awkwardly.

"Come here."

Kara chewed on the inside of her lip and walked over to Lena. While she was walking she tried not to make eye contact with Lena.

"Lena, I'm really so - "

"It's okay." Lena interrupted Kara before she could say anything else.

"I'm sorry. I should have understood why you didn't tell me. You never meant this to happen. I found it easier to blame it on you, I guess. But it's not your fault, Kara. If anything it's my-"

"Lena, stop." Kara put a hand on the woman's arm. "It's not your fault. You had no idea what was going to happen and no way to prevent it."

Lena was trying not to cry more than she had. She noticed she'd been crying a lot more lately. It was kind of a good thing because she was letting out her feelings, but she felt vulnerable all the time.

It didn't work.

Kara reached over and pulled Lena onto her lap "Rao, I love you Lee."

"I love you too." Lena sobbed into Kara's shoulder.
