Chapter Ten

Whoops I published two sorry chapters. 😅

Shikamaru POV
I could now see how obvious his fake smile was. We are all idiots for letting him suffer so long.

Watching him lie so easily was unsettling. I knew he lied before but I never realised to what extent. His smile may be fake to me but no one else even batted an eyelid.

A master of disguise...

CRASH!

My trail of thought was suddenly lost as a stranger appeared in a kawakami.

It was a man with pure white hair and beautifully cold monochrome eyes. At his waist an ebony and ruby katana, his hands covered in black gloves. His complection was sickly and he was covered in wounds all over. He couldn't be older than us at the most.

"Naruto nii-san. Thank god I have found you, I had no other choice. Please forgive me, I know that you were trying to hide everything." the boy weakly walked towards him and collapsed into his arms.

"SHIRO!" Naruto shouted, "Minami grab the first aid kit. Kakashi and the other jounins, he isn't a threat, he'll stay in my tent. Shikamaru come and help me. Girls make some porridge and boys grab some water. Please!"

His usual smile had long since vanished. A look of pure concern appeared on his and his aura seemed way more mature than before. Running over to Naruto I took Shiro's other arm and helped Naruto carry him to his tent.

Things were going to become so much more interesting from now on...
