Shikamaru POV
We were awoken the next day by a frantic Shiro and Gaara.
"Hey! Guys wake up ROOT are attacking us. Word has travelled fast about your relationship." Gaara explained.
Nature looked sadly at me before we both leapt into action. Neither of us bothered nor had time to change so we just grabbed our weapons.
"Where are they?" Naruto snapped unconsciously.
"Fighting the Konoha ninja."
He looked at me with a look of impending doom written on his face.
This was not gonna end well...

Sorry my phone broke + 12 end of year exams + school drama +terrible hay fever = you being neglected
Sorry it so short but I feel so ill as I post this and my excuses are long.
I am busy due to my end of year exams as I'm in year ten so now year eleven have gone it's my turn.
Yep my phone unfortunately but on the bright side I have a new one.
Urgh. The drama... basically I had no idea why but I was being ignored and stuff I apparently did was spread so school has been interesting to say the least for the past three weeks.
Life and hay fever the same old story too.
Anyway I'm really sorry if updates are slow or non existent for the next three - four weeks and for being a bad author but I try my best.
The story doesn't have many chapters left and I have an ... unexpected ending (I think) to intrigue you and bribe you into carrying on reading.
