Naruto POV
I had seen that creepy look on Shiro's face before and it still unnerved me. Whenever he had that look, he was planning something that generally made my life hell. Sighing, my hand lifted up to open the door to our room.
"Naruto, Shikamaru can I have some help please. I've lost my spare ... trousers." Gaara's face was red in embarrassment.
I smiled at Shikamaru and nodded my head, he did too. We both looked at Gaara who by now was almost melting on the floor from embarrassment. He really did hate asking for help from everyone, even us.
"Of course we will help you Gaara. Show us to your room please." Shikamaru tried to sound as gentle as possible, nearly slipping a 'troublesome' in. I snickered a bit at that.
We followed Garra to his room.
Shiro POV
I grinned. Thank you Gaara for your sacrifice. The five minutes you need to take finding the trousers I hid will be plenty of time. I'll make it up to you later I promise. A little pang of guilt hit me, even though I loved that embarrassed expression on his face.
I opened the door to their room. Stupid Naruto, always lock the door, even if Gaara has to ask for help. I entered the room and whistled. It was a great size.
That was when I spotted my target. Wrapping up the second futon, I left , only the pillow being left behind. Not even I was cruel enough to only give them one.
Whistling I closed the door behind me. futon under arm and walked down to to reception, where a kind lady was stood. She looked at me in confusion, as I passed it her.
"Please don't let room 15 have another futon please. My friends are embarrassed to be together, so they need a little push to go out. Please, just this once." I begged.
She smiled and nodded. "Ah, young love. Of course deary, leave it to me."
I grinned, step two complete.
By the end of this stay, Shikanaru will be canon!
