The thought of confrontation was something Mafumafu hated, but he knew Amatsuki was right about it. This didn't stop the albino from avoiding it, though, and he managed a full three days of avoidance before both Amatsuki and Soraru himself said something.

Amatsuki had approached him something like:

Amatsuki: Did you talk to him?

Mafumafu: No...

Amatsuki: Just suck his dick then

...and Mafu had been extremely tempted to throw his textbook at Amatsuki's face for being so forward in public. Not only in public, but the fact Amatsuki had no shame in school...

Mafumafu was starting to not like the new side of his best friend he was seeing.

However, Soraru's approach was much more simple and less lewd.

As Mafumafu was doing his homework one night, the raven haired male randomly approached him and asked what was wrong. Of course, at that moment, Mafumafu didn't get it and Soraru was too poor with his words to explain. It didn't go anywhere and the two left it like that.

Now, Mafu was laying in his bed, face pressed in his pillow as he thought about missing his chance to be open with the other.

Why didn't I realize what was he was asking... this could have all been solved!! He thought in frustration, pushing his face deeper into the pillow and kicking his feet up and down childishly.

Soraru peeked his head into Mafumafu's room, watching as the albino made groans into his pillow and kicked his feet aggressively into his bed. He watched for a few moments before deciding to leave him be. Lately, Mafumafu hadn't been speaking to him much. He didn't want to make it worse, so he accepted it easily.

Maybe it was because he used to be a cat, but he was awful at confronting someone who clearly didn't want to talk. He didn't even know what was wrong, if anything even was wrong.

As Soraru thought about these things, already reaching for the PSP to distract himself, he hears Mafu's timid voice.

"S-Soraru-san... can we talk?" He turned, his tail swaying a bit as he saw Mafumafu fiddling with his oversized sleeves. "U-uwaa! If you don't want to, it's fine! I-I just... well..." Mafumafu trailed off, not knowing where to begin. Soraru only looked at him curiously, waiting for him to go on.

The albino sucked in a breath and sat down at the couch.

"Well... we're dating, right? So... is that enough? Are you happy just with that?" Mafumafu asks, feeling embarrassed but he didn't even know why. He hoped he wasn't coming off too clingy or overbearing. He couldn't even find it in himself to have eye contact with Soraru, but when he peeked at him, he saw that the cat boy looked incredibly confused. Stuttering, Mafumafu tried to continue and explain himself better.

"I-I mean! Like, dates and kissing and stuff... d-do you want that? I know I stay indoors a lot but if Soraru-san wants to go outside, then I wouldn't mind..." he mumbled near the end, his face burning.

"...Kissing?" Soraru repeated. He vaguely knew the word. "...What is that?" He asked cluelessly. "Is that something humans do? I don't know how to, then," he added on, looking a bit disappointed. He actually was. He was beginning to think he got the hang of being (mostly) human, but Mafumafu seems to bring up something he doesn't know all the time.

Mafu's face burned a bright red.

Soraru-san is cute when he's clueless, but this is too dense!! Mafu screamed in his mind. He couldn't calm himself and his face still had his blush. Oh god. How do I explain kissing? He then began to wonder as Soraru seemed to be waiting. He then got a sudden idea.
