A whole week had passed since Soraru and Mafu began to date. To Soraru, it wasn't much different than how they were before. Mafu still taught him things and the albino treated him practically the same. However, to Mafumafu, he thought they changed completely.
Soraru acted indifferent, but each time Mafu saw him, his heart beat quicker and he started to wonder if he should hug or kiss him, but held back because he didn't want to be overbearing. If the raven haired male was content as they were, who was he to try something new?
He was clearly clueless about dating, having spent a few nights browsing google to read other's stories of their relationships, only to decide he shouldn't compare his own to someone else's.
After all, isn't mine a little special? I doubt any of these people picked up a cat and had the cat turn human, then begin to date said cat, he would tell himself.
After fumbling around with what to do and how to act, he finally convinced himself to come clean to Amatsuki and ask for advice. He wasn't about to tell the whole truth about Soraru being part cat, but he would lie just a bit and say that they were indeed dating.
He reached with hesitation for his phone. They hadn't texted since that day in the market, but he had a strong feeling Amatsuki wasn't mad at him or anything and just wanted to give him space. It didn't stop his nerves, though, as he typed a message.

Pretty quickly, Amatsuki replied, to which Mafumafu didn't know whether to be relieved or questionable at.

Mafu made a choked sound, his face reddening. He wasn't aware Amatsuki was not a virgin, and now that he knew, he wish he didn't. But, at the same time, Mafumafu was curious about sex in relationships. However, that was something he wanted to discuss with Soraru himself sometime. That is, if embarrassment doesn't kill him first.

Mafumafu nearly blocked his friend then and there, but calmed himself and ignored Amatsuki, instead opting to just send him the location to meet and time.
When that was all set up, he sighed and rolled back into bed, burying his face in his pillow. He didn't like being this unsure, and although he was sure Soraru wouldn't leave him, especially when the cat boy had nowhere else to go, he couldn't help but feel that Soraru would only get bored of him.
Thinking of the other so much, he got up and peeked outside his room. Soraru was napping on the couch, the PSP letting out faint music. He smiled to himself and walked to Soraru. Tentatively, he reached a hand to touch the slight curls of the raven hair. They were soft, surprising Mafu. He couldn't help it as he pet the other's hair, shyly reaching to rub his fluffy cat ear.
