Hey guys, sorry I didn't post this weekend! I had a horse show, and a crap ton of homework when I got back, so yeah... anyway, here you go! Thanks for reading, please comment, and hope you enjoy!

The next day, a dozen or so people showed up at the campus auditorium, all sitting in the audience as they were introduced one by one.

Usually, some auditions allow open song uses, but for a capella, auditions used a single song to test vocal abilities, strengths and weaknesses, as well as any vocal manipulation used to create the background music.

First up was a large tan guy dressed in yellow. He smiled nervously and stood awkwardly for a few long seconds.

"Whenever you're ready," Allura politely urged.

"R--Right," he stammered. "Hi, I'm Hunk Garrett."

[I'm not sure how to type up this scene, so we'll ignore the song for now].

The next one walked on stage, a bit more confidently than Hunk. they were shorter, with big round glasses and sandy orange hair and eyes, dressed in green. "I'm Pidge Gunderson, an honor student here."

The third was none other than the tall lanky Cuban. He flashed a smile. "The name's Lance, Lance McClain. I am totally single and ready to mingle."

Allura rolled her eyes at him before he began.

A few more Galra stepped up as well, then Shiro came, as well as Nyma and Rolo, two jerks Keith had ran into a little while back at a nearby skate park.

The final singer was a girl with bright eyes and dark skin. Hunk stared at her a lot.

"I think that's everyone," Allura sighed.

Keith strolled in the side stage door, pausing behind the curtain.

Lance spotted him and jumped up. "Hey, hold on! There's one more!" He shouted, pointing directly at Keith. The emo was seriously thinking about killing the punk.

Keith awkwardly stepped into view.

"Um, I didn't know we had to prepare that song."

"That's okay, sing anything you want," Allura offered. Her eyes were narrowed slightly at him.

Keith nodded, and began drumming a beat with his fingers on his leg. He could hear the music in his head, but just him singing would be awkward.

"All my friends are heathens take it slow~"

A few of the audience members recognized the song by twenty øne pilots and hummed along. This gave Keith the confidence he needed.

"Please don't make any sudden moves. You don't know the half of the abuse. All my friends are heathens take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves, you don't know the half of the abuse~"

He continued tapping out the beat, hitting each note dead on but with his own adaptations added here or there to make it sound better with his voice.

Finally, he finished, and waited a second on Allura, who narrowed her bluish purple eyes in thought.

"Wow," Lance breathed in the stage wing.
