Here's another update while I can! Hope you enjoy!

Reluctantly, Keith invited Lance to his room, where he could show the Latino the way he sang.

"So, I uh just find songs that have the same chord progressions and create a track that blends them together! So like, this is the new bass line, and this is matching up downbeats—!" Keith slipped his headphones off when he noticed Lance's withheld laughter. "Whoa, I'm talking really loud. Um..that's me singing."

He gave the headphones to Lance, who slipped them on and started moving to the beat in his chair. "This is really good! Now I'm the one yelling, right?" He gently removed the headphones once more with a grin. "That is amazing, Keith."

"Thanks."

"So, I brought this over because I wanna watch you watch the end of this movie," Lance began as he pulled out a DVD case. "And then I can die a hero. Wait, actually..." Lance plopped down onto Keith's bed.

"You have a habit of making yourself at home, did you know that?" Keith noted with a small smile.

"Yeah, okay. The Breakfast Club. 1985. Greatest ending to any movie ever. This song launched Simple Minds in the US. Could have been a Billy Idol song, but he turned it down. Idiot. Perfectly sums up the movie. It's equally beautiful and sad."

"That is fascinating," Keith breathed sarcastically.

"Right?!" Lance grinned brightly.

"Tell me. What does Judd Nelson eat for breakfast?" Keith questioned jokingly.

"Did Keith Kogane just make a joke?!" Lance breathed in pretend shock. "Well, like all misunderstood rebels, he feeds on hypocrisy."

"Sure." Keith could understand that.

"And black coffee to help him with his morning dumps," Lance added with a laugh.

"You're an idiot."

"It's true. I'm full of fun facts."

"You should let other people tell you they're fun."

"And an athlete—"

"And a basket case—"

"A princess—"

"And a criminal."

"Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club."

Keith slid out from the bed beside Lance and stood with a yawn.

"You're missing the ending," Lance protested

.
"Sorry. It's good. I'm sure the beginning is..." Keith countered before his roommate and a few of his little friends interrupted.

"T—The scary guy is back," Keith's roommate stammered.

Lance pushed himself to his feet also, setting Keith's laptop gently on the bed behind him, the Breakfast Club still playing in the background as the credits began.

"And I'm out. Always a pleasure. So...Excuse me."

With a sigh, Keith watched the Latino go, and prepared for another Voltron practice in a few hours.
