As I'm walking to the Pokémon school, my partner runs up ahead. I lightly laugh and walk a little faster. Then I heard some people talking.

Ash's POV

Then that something ran up to us or really me. We were able to see it clearly and it was...

"Umbreon?!" I yell shocked.

"You know this pokemon?" Lillie asked partially hiding behind Mallow.

"Umbre!" Umbreon says and I crouch down to pet her.

"Yeah. Wait, if you're here then that means..." I trail off as I heard footsteps.

"Alola Ashy Boy!" I heard the voice of my boyfriend who is taller than me.

Umbreon runs to her partner's side and Lillie came out of hiding. I walk over to him and hug him. He hugs me back and we let go. I step back a bit.

"Why are you here? You should be in Sinnoh!" I say.

"I came to visit you." Gary says and I fight the blush trying to show. "And after you left Kanto to go to Unova I came back to Kanto."

"Are you going to introduce us?" I heard Lana say.

"Oh yeah." I say and turn around. "This is Gary Oak, my best friend." I say and Pikachu looks like he is about to shock me so I quickly add, "That's human and his partner Umbreon." Pikachu seems happy with that. "And Gary these are Kiawe, Lana, Lillie, Mallow, Sophocles, and Professor Kukui." I say and point to them.

"Alola." Gary says.

"Alola." They say.

"Wait how did you know where to find me?" I ask.

"Your mom told me that you're going to the Pokémon school." He replied.

"Wait your last name is Oak, as in Principle Oak?" Sophocles asks confused.

"Gary is Professor Oak's grandson." I say.

"Yeah. Gramps told me that he had a cousin that looks kind of like him that is in charge of the school." Gary says.

"So this is a visit, not a research trip?" I ask making sure I got it right.

"Yes this is a visit. I have some time off and it's been awhile since we last saw each other." Is Gary's reply.

"You're a researcher?" The professor asked.

"Yes I am." Gary says.

"We are learning about fossils." Lillie says.

"Really?" My boyfriend asks and the rest of us nod. "Well in that case." Gary says as he pulls out a poke ball and throws it.

"Aero!" Gary's Aerodactly says.

"You have an Aerodactly!" Lillie says in awe but still scared of it.
