Chapter 15- Austin

Parking in the Day care parking lot I unbuckle my buckle but then I get anxious. Really anxious.

I barely know these people, how could I be okay with them taking care of my baby? Am I a bad mother for doing this, no...i gotta work. Right?

Breathing in and out and letting myself calm down I got out of the car and made my way too Jackson's side of the car. I opened the door and he was a blubber, smiley baby. Must be nice.

"How's my baby boy? Are you ready too go in?" I asked with my baby voice and he gave me a giggle. The giggle that can change your mood a total 360. I smiled at him as I unbuckled his baby carseat, but him on my hip and grabbed his bag.

Shutting the door behind me I looked back down and Jackson who still had a huge smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile, how can you not smile at that.

"Okay, it's okay. Let's go." I said to Jackson's trying too reassure him, but actually reassuring myself. I don't know if I'm ready. It's only gonna be 3 hours I thought too myself. 3 hours...still too long.

Going up too the door, I opened it with my one free arm. It was a big place, actually. There were 4 people working right now, a guy at the desk, 2 girls playing with the toddlers and another girl feeding a baby thay looked a little younger than Jackson.

It was nice and big. There was a play set right in the middle of the room, filled with pushy toys, slides, everything. Too the right a whole wall was all chalkborad. On the left the other wall was all a mirror becasue baby's do like too look at themselves alot. Then there was a door that said Snack Room and another next too it saying Potty.

I made my way further into the place and this, somewhat tall guy with blonde hair and blue eyes came up too me. He was attractive, for sure.

"Well hello. Who might this cutie and beautiful mother be?" He asked and I blushed at him saying I was beautiful.

"This is Jackson and I'm Cheyenne." I said with a smile.

"Well it's nice too meet you both, I'm Austin." He said. Jackson was leaning twords Austin and Austin grabbed Jackson and he had the biggest smile on there face.

"Well this is his baby bag. It has diapers, extra clothes, food, snacks, his favorite blanket and toy and anything else you would need in it." I started out handing him the bag. He just smiled and watched me as I talked. Then I continued.

"If he doesn't sleep with the blanket, then he won't fall asleep, but he only falls asleep when someone is Holding him. But yeah I gotta get going, first day at the new job." I said whiping my hands on my pants making sure I didn't forget anything.

"Okay, sweet. We'll remember all of that. Where's your new job at?" He asked.

"Its just the little bakery/coffee shop downtown." I said with a smile while looking down at my feet. Why was i so nervous around him.

"Sweet, good luck. Um, quick question....can i get your number....imeanjustincasesomethinghappens." he said the last part very fast as if he was nervous. I barely made out what he said but I just giggled.

"Of course." I said and we swapped numbers.

"Okay well mommy's gonna go baby. I'll see you later. I love you so much." I said too Jackson as I steeped forward and placed a kiss on the top of his head.

"Say bye bye mommy. Good luck." Austin said with a cheeky smile on his face as I walked away saying a small thank you as I made my way out the door. As I was leaving Jackson began too cry and it took every ounce of me not too turn around and take him back. 3 hours....3 hours.
