Tora sat in a sun chair in her garden, enjoying the last warmth of autumn before winter would snatch it away for a long time. Thinking about the events of last week still made a headache grow in her temples, seeing someone dig through a bullet wound with her bare hands was definitely heavy, let alone suddenly being told that your best friend's boyfriend plus friends are all nightmare creatures you feared. Freaky shit.
Tora sighed and closed her eyes, trying to block out all thoughts of the events of last week. It did not take long before sleep overtook her senses, her insomnia of the last days finally kicking in and knocking her out cold. Hours passed and nothing happened, except that she had wrestled an enormous teddy bear that crept from her closet in her dreams. She could not enjoy her victory, however, as a wet tongue licked her cheek and brought her back to consciousness. "What the fuck!" she sprang up in groggy alertness, staring into the stormy blue eyes of a reddish wolf.
The creature stumbled back in surprise. "What the fuck are you doing, licking my cheek like that!" she hissed, not really angry, just mildly grossed out at being woken this way. The wolf stared at her in mild curiosity, cocking his head to the side. "Wait, which one are you?" she then asked, standing up from her position in the chair. Her words seemed to have set him off because the next second he was bolting back into the forest, out of her sight. Tora looked after him with a confused expression.

Jungkook did not leave Jisoo's sight after the events of the night prior. It almost seemed like he was even more in love with her now, staring at her like a lovesick puppy. "Good morning" Jisoo greeted the others in the kitchen when she rose that morning. Jungkook was close behind her, moving to make himself a bowl of cereal straight after entering. Nari smiled warmly at Jisoo. "Tough night, sweetie?" she asked with a knowing smirk, making the younger one blush and touch her neck unconsciously.
"Show me the mark" the redhead exclaimed giddily and moved toward her, trying to move Jisoo's hair from her neck, but before she could, a warning growl was heard from Jungkook. She sighed exasperatedly. "Chill, Kookie! I won't steal her away from you, she is all yours" she rolled her eyes mockingly. Jungkook grumbled, focusing on his cereal again, but watching the girls with hawk eyes. Ever since last night, he was even more possessive and cautious around her, a side effect of the marking. "Don't worry, it will wear off and he will be normal soon" Nari whispered to Jisoo, winking at her.
Then she wiped her hair from her neck, revealing the purple and red bite mark her mate put on her. "Nice sealing, it will heal very quickly" Nari commented, impressed with Jungkook's work and he smirked proudly. "But how do you feel?" Hwayoung suddenly popped her head into the kitchen. "How was it? You both were pretty noisy last night, so I conclude it was great" she giggled, making both Jungkook and Jisoo look at the ground in embarrassment. "Stop, Noona" he whined quietly.
The idyllic atmosphere was soon interrupted, however, as Tora stormed into the little cabin, looking around her frantically. "Who of you massive puppies licked my cheek just now?!" she yelled through the cabin loudly upon her entrance. "What?" Hoseok asked, flabbergasted. "I was just enjoying a nice after awakening nap in my garden when one of you woke me up by licking my cheek!" Everyone stared at each other in confusion, Jin looked like he would be bursting with laughter any minute now. "What color did the wolf have?" Namjoon asked in a serious voice.
"Its fur was reddish" Tora explained. Everyone's attention went to Jungkook at that. "He was with me, it wasn't him" Jisoo calmly explained. The other red wolf in the pack was... "Nari, do you want to tell me something?" Jimin asked his mate next and Nari crossed her arms over his chest in mild offense. "Are you kidding me? It obviously wasn't me!" Namjoon sighed. "Well, who was it then?" Taehyung asked his pack, looking at each of them in turn. Tora widened her eyes in panic. "Was some rogue wolf trying to taste me before deciding if he should eat me or not?" she asked loudly. "Nah" Jin laughed. "There has to be some other explanation for this" Namjoon reasoned, looking at Jin, deep in thought. "Maybe..." the older one started but was cut off from his alpha immediately after.
"Let's talk about this in my room" he sighed, gesturing him to follow him. "What do they have to talk about?" Tora asked with wide eyes. "You know what, I don't care, I'll call my mum, she is probably wondering where I ran off to..." Tora fumbled with her phone in her pocket and moved to unlock it. In her haste, it fell from her fingertips, falling to the floor with a loud echoing sound. "Oh come on!" she groaned, closing her eyes and ruffling her hair. It was almost certain, there would be a crack in her screen now. Stupid piece of garbage...
She moved to pick it up from the floor, but Jungkook beat her to it, swiftly picking up the device because it landed near him. He intended to give it back to her immediately, but he stopped, looking at it with a variety of emotions. First surprise, then disbelief, then denial flashed across his face in what seemed like only a second. "Tora?" he asked the girl with a quiet voice, his gaze still fixated on her mobile phone. "Yes?" the girl answered, her eyes widened in confusion.
Jungkook licked his lips, his brows furrowing. Jisoo looked at him worriedly, just like everyone else. Everybody in the room could see how tense he had become in a mere second.
"Why do you have a picture of my father in your phone?"
