Jisoo frowned, as she observed the blond female hang on Jungkook like a deprived koala. Jungkook hugged her back for a second, but his gaze diverted back to his mate in a second. "It's nice to see you too, Lisa, but could you please get off me? It's getting kinda hard to breathe" he said calmly. It was not really the hug that made his breathing hard, but the turmoil of feelings that Jisoo sent his way.

Luckily Lisa obeyed to his request and got off him the next second, but she still stood awfully close to him, Jisoo thought. "We haven't seen each other so long! Why don't you come visit regularly again?" the girl pouted cutely, but it just made Jisoo sick to her stomach. Jungkook nervously scratched his neck. "Um... You see... I have found my mate and I would feel really uncomfortable to leave her for so long" he finally dropped the bomb on the girl and Lisa seemed disappointed for a second. Suddenly her head whipped around to Jisoo, who was still sitting on the bed like a mannequin, slowly chewing on her pancakes.

The blonde girl acted like she just noticed her there and maybe she really did. "Oh! You found your mate, Jungkookie? I am so happy for you!" The way she said those words sounded really bitter to Jisoo, although the girl was smiling brightly from ear to ear. Jungkook did not pick up on that undertone. "I am Lisa" she then introduced herself to Jisoo, as if she didn't already pick up on that. "Jisoo" she just smiled grimly. "From which pack are you, if I might ask?" Lisa cocked her head curiously to one side, her smile never leaving her pretty face.

"Oh, uh... Jisoo is human" Jungkook butted in from behind the girls and Lisa's eyebrows raised in surprise, something about her expression really made Jisoo's skin crawl. "Oh really? Not a werewolf?" Jisoo shook her head, the grim smile she sent her way only intensifying. "That is... interesting, to say the least... How curious I would be to understand the moon goddess's thoughts on putting you two together."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Jisoo asked, her brows furrowed, anger taking over. In a second Jungkook was by her side, rubbing her back in soothing circles. "She didn't mean it that way... Right, Lisa? You are happy for us" Jungkook inquired, looking at his friend sternly. "Of course!" the blonde happily responded. "Sorry for offending you, Jisoo. I hope we can become great friends in my time of staying here" and with those words, she left the room, leaving Jisoo dumbfounded.

"She is staying?" Jungkook looked just as surprised as Jisoo was. "I guess?" They both stared at the door for a few seconds, before Jungkook held another fork of pancakes to Jisoo's mouth. "Come on... They are probably cold already..."

The next weeks were a living hell for Jisoo. Not only did she have to leave every evening to come home to her mother, but every time she returned, Lisa was all over Jungkook on the couch. He was always happy to see Jisoo, however, greeting her with a kiss and mostly ignoring the pouting girl who had her head in his lap seconds before. Jisoo still didn't like how touchy feely Lisa was with him.

"You know... It is quite strange that he didn't mark you yet" Lisa suddenly asked from behind Jisoo, as she was doing the dishes. Jungkook and the others had just stepped out to check on their territory marks. Jisoo whirled around, giving Lisa a glare. She did not seem fazed by it. "I mean, I remember like two years ago?" Lisa stopped to think, her smile growing even smugger. "Yes, that should be right... When we were together you know, he wanted to mark me, so I'm really surprised. He said something along the lines of: I don't want to have to wait for my mate, when you are just as good for me, if not better." For some reason that really stung.

"You were an item?" she didn't want to sound so unsure of herself next to this goddess, but her voice betrayed her. "Oh, for a long time actually! He was always in my brother Jiyong's pack to see me~" Jisoo resumed cleaning the dishes, ignoring Lisa's stories of when she and Jungkook were so madly in love, it hurt her more than she was ready to admit. "Well, whatever. He is with me now" Jisoo willed her voice to come out as uninterested. "Yes, he is and I'm really confused as to why. I am an alpha's daughter, how can you, a mere human, possibly give Jungkook more powerful pubs than me?"

Jisoo had enough now, she forcefully threw the towel she used to dry the plates into the sink and stormed to the door. "I'm gonna go take a walk" she gritted out and slammed the door to a disgustingly giggling Lisa. "Bitch" Jisoo seethed when she was a fine distance from the cabin. She took deep breaths to calm down, but the doubts stayed nonetheless. Was he really better off with Lisa? Did he really love her that deeply? Did he still have feelings for her? Maybe it wasn't Lisa that was the third wheel those last weeks, maybe it was her all along and Jisoo could never be completely sure what happened when she was at home...

Doubt consumed her like a big black beast, she was scared to lose Jungkook to Lisa. She didn't know how long she counted all her flaws, but she must've been on her way back to the cabin when voices drifted over to her. She could identify the voices immediately, Jungkook and Lisa. Slowly she crept closer, seeing Jungkook and Lisa stand very close to each other. "Reject her." Jisoo's heart stopped for a second. "She can never provide you with a strong blood line. She will never be able to run alongside you, will never be equal." Jungkook looked down to the ground. "I can be so much better for you, reject her!" Lisa's voice was piercing through the silence, determination written all over her pretty face.

"You know, I thought so too at the beginning, but-" I love her, Lisa. He was cut off by Lisa's lips on his own and froze. He could feel Jisoo's heart breaking before he could actually see her. Immediately he broke the kiss, looking wildly for his mate. "No... Jisoo, I-" The tears that streamed down her face broke his heart, the softly whispered 'Liar' buried it deep in the dirt he was standing upon. The girl took off running before he could explain, Lisa, holding him back from running after her with a smile.

I promised you some drama, didn't I? Do you hate Lisa already? Hehehe... This is gonna be hard to explain, especially with all the info that Lisa had given her before as well~ Now Jungkookie has to work hard to regain her trust if he can even still do that *thinking face* Will I let them suffer some more?
