Walking through the woods without anyone by her side, Jisoo felt a little lonely and scared. Every little sound she heard, she immediately assumed was Lisa, waiting for the right moment to pounce on her and finish her off. She regretted her decision of leaving the house. She regretted doing it behind Jungkook's back. What if she really would die now? The last thing she would've done with Jungkook was slap him...
Jisoo sighed, suppressing the scared whimpers and bravely marching on, her head held high to show that she wasn't scared the slightest bit. Slowly, she came to the end of the woods, stepping over the fence in her backyard with great difficulty and marching across it to the door. Inside she could hear the TV blaring and she froze. Her eyes were still glued to her destination, Tora's house. One step after a time she moved to the house, her thoughts running wild in her head when she rang the doorbell. "Coming!" she could hear from inside and then the hurried footsteps before the door swung open.
"Jisoo?" Her mother stared at her with wide and surprised eyes. "Hi, mother. Did you miss me?" her smile did not quite reach her eyes, as her mother's mouth just hung open in shock. "You are still alive?" she replied softly and Jisoo scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Yes, of course, I am still alive! Why shouldn't I be?" Her mother started shaking slightly. "Because-" she stopped, a gasp leaving her when she noticed the big baby bump her daughter was sporting. "You are pregnant!"
"Yes... I thought you might want to know that you'll be a grandmother soon, even if you don't want to see me any longer" her voice was barely audible, her eyes downcast, fixing on her shoes. "Come in, sweetheart. Let's talk" her mother said, surprising her and walking into the house. Jisoo followed slowly, discarding her shoes by the entrance. "Sit down with me." Jisoo nodded and sat down on the couch beside her mother, her eyes still fixated on the floor. Her mother sighed, regret, disbelief and surprise swimming in her head.
"Is it his?" Finally, Jisoo found the courage to face the elderly woman. "Yes, it's Jungkook's child" she answered with a strong voice. Silence once again settled in, Jisoo could practically hear the gears turning in her mother's head. "Are you happy with him? Do you love him? Does he love you?" Jisoo was surprised with the questions, she expected anger, denial, another fight, where she would tell her that he is a werewolf and can't be trusted, but she did not expect acceptance, or at least her trying to understand.
"Yes, very happy and we love each other. He is very excited about the baby" she answered truthfully. "Actually... He did not want me to leave the house alone at all today because he has to be at a meeting and there is this rogue she-wolf on the loose, who wants to kill me and my baby" Jisoo just had to talk it through with someone. She felt so relieved to have her mother back, at least for a little, before she would tell her to leave again. "What?" her mother seemed shocked at her revelation. "Start from the beginning, sweetheart." And that she did.

"Baby, I'm home!" Jungkook shouted through the silent cabin, the wildflowers he picked on the way back tightly in his hand. There was no response, but he figured she would still be mad at him. He closed the door behind him after everyone else stepped in. "Where are you, honey? I want to apologize" Taehyung snickered quietly behind him and Hoseok made a gesture like whipping him. "I think she should apologize" Iseul muttered, but didn't say any more, just moving straight to the couch.
Jungkook paid her no mind, heading straight for the stairs. "Are you asleep?" he asked then, when there was still no answer, no sign from her at all. Anxiousness and fear crept up his body, but he suppressed it. She is okay and safe, stop being paranoid. He softly and quietly opened the door to their shared bedroom, careful not to wake her up, if she was sleeping. But when he opened the door, he was only greeted by an empty bed, an empty room.
Jungkook froze for a second, his hand shakily carding through his hair, before he bolted down the stairs, almost falling down. "Jisoo is not here!" he howled, panic settling in. The flowers were forgotten on the floor of the room. "What do you mean she is not here?" Jimin asked, putting the remote down. He was just about to play a Disney film for relaxation. "I mean that she is not in our room and nowhere else in this cabin!" Namjoon sighed. "I knew this would happen. You see, if you forbid her to go, she will go. That's just how pregnant women work. They do it out of spite, Jungkook." He shook his head. "But Lisa is out there! What if she found her!"
Jungkook drifted deeper and deeper into panic mode. He could not lose his family! He refused! "Relax, there was no trace of her scent anywhere. Lisa has not crossed our land, so Jisoo is safe" Hwayoung tried to calm the maknae down and he nodded dumbly, not even really listening to her. "Just go look for her" Jin proposed, "If you want me to help you, just ask." Jungkook shook his head, a grateful smile on his lips. "No thanks, Hyung. I'll track her down myself." His pack's comforting words calmed him down enough, that he could think straight again and set out to look for her. Hwayoung was right, there was no trace of Lisa anywhere. Jungkook thanked the moon goddess for that. He remembered, that Jisoo wanted to visit Tora, so he started searching for her there first.
It didn't take him long until he could smell her scent. It brought him right to her old neighborhood. Without thinking or knocking, he just barged into the house. He was too relieved of having found her for him to care whose house he just marched into. "Oh my god, you are okay! You scared me so much, Bambi! Don't do this ever again! I might just die of a heart attack soon!" He almost ran to Jisoo, who was sitting on her mother's couch and cupped her face in his hands. He pressed a gentle kiss to her lips, before putting his forehead to hers. "I was so worried about you and the baby... I just want to keep you safe, please don't run away like that again."
"I'm really sorry, Jungkook. You were right, I shouldn't have gone alone. And I am so sorry for slapping you" she whimpered. Jungkook chuckled softly, shaking his head. "It's okay, I am sorry as well." There was a short and comfortable silence until someone broke it. "How is your shoulder, Jungkook? Did it heal alright?" Only then did he notice, that the woman next to his mate was not his half-sister.
