Jungkook tensed under her fingertips immediately, before he ever so slowly let go of Jisoo's face and turned around to her mother. He instantly and unconsciously sat in front of his family, shielding Jisoo from any possible danger that might occur. He granted the old woman a tightlipped smile. "Yes, it healed quite well. It's good as new like it was never there in the first place." 

Jisoo got the hint behind his words. Nothing would hold him back from protecting her, he was dead serious about that. Her mother sighed moving her hand to put a strand of her greying hair behind her ear. "That's good to hear. I must say I deeply regret my rash decisions from months ago" she spoke next, making Jungkook, as well as Jisoo, blink dumbly in surprise. 

"Mother?" Jisoo asked softly, trying not to jump to conclusions that she accepted Jungkook as her partner. The old woman chuckled darkly. "What? You think I can't apologize when I notice that I was wrong?" Jisoo covered under her mother's intense gaze. Jungkook moved uncomfortably in his seat. "I... accept your apology" he calmly and a little hesitantly replied. My mom nodded. "But you need to promise me one thing, though."

As quickly as Jungkook deflated, he tensed up again and sat straight as a stick. "Promise me that you will always protect her and make sure she and your baby is never harmed." Jungkook never looked so determined as he looked right this moment. "This is a promise that I swore to myself the first time that she smiled at me. I would give my life for her without thinking one second."

Jungkook and Jisoo stayed a little longer at her mother's house and although it was mildly uncomfortable still, they were quite friendly to each other and even made some minor small talk. "This was the hardest shit I have ever done... Is meeting parents always that uncomfortable?" Jungkook asked on the way home, his hand intertwined with Jisoo's and playfully swinging side to side. 

"No, normally the mother didn't try to kill the boyfriend before" Jisoo replied casually, making Jungkook snort and almost fall face first in the dirt. "Stop it! You might've seriously ruined my holy face right now!" Jisoo huffed angrily and tried to punch his shoulder. "Don't be self-centered you dick!" Jungkook cackled evilly and suddenly started running ahead, his laughter echoing through the trees. 

Jisoo's eyes widened in shock, stopping momentarily to walk him run away with betrayal in her eyes. "Hey! Don't leave your pregnant girl in the woods!" She started jogging after him, but her massive belly made it fairly difficult for her and after some seconds she already gave up, huffing in annoyance. "You are a butthole, Jungkook" she muttered under her breath, crossing her arms over her chest. 

"Now don't say that sweetheart" suddenly a deep voice said from behind her and two strong arms slid around her waist, pulling her against a hard and warm chest. Jisoo gasped in surprise, quickly turning around to spot the shit-eating grin spreading on his face. "Why did you run, you butt!" Jisoo slapped his chest gently, pouting up at him. The man just chuckled, shaking his head in wonder. 

"Quit acting cute or I might have to eat you up, baby." His voice dropped an octave, his eyes hooded, as they stared down at her. Jisoo's mouth ran dry, all thoughts soaring up in the sky never to return. She was now brainless and putty in his strong arms. Jungkook knew exactly what effect he had on her. He leaned down, his lips softly brushing against the shell of her ear. "Forget about Prince Charming, baby. Go for the wolf, he can see you better, hear you better and eat you better~" 

He was just about to claim her lips, when there was a rustling in the leaves and suddenly Tora stood in front of them. "That was gross, bro. I did not need to hear what you do in bed, but who am I to judge your tongue technology, right?" she announced, winking at Jisoo. The poor girl immediately blushed, freeing herself from his grip. "Where did you just come from?" Tora picked some leaves out of her hair. 

"I am a little sad that you didn't visit me today, but that's fine I guess. Bambam and I ran through the forest a little. He showed me how to change yesterday" she announced casually like it was no big deal that she was finally able to turn into a wolf. Jungkook's response was not so casual tho, as he galloped at his half-sister at full speed and rammed into her, almost knocking her off her feet. "Good job! What do you look like?" he asked immediately, his eyes glistening with joy. He not so patiently waited for her response by plucking another leaf from her hair. 

"Ew! Don't touch me like you didn't just almost have a boner, you perv!" Jungkook immediately let her go, his cheeks adorning an adorable blush. "I did not..." he defended weakly, denying his need a second ago. "But what color does your wolf have now?" he asked again, mostly to change the topic now. "Black as the night, as a raven, as my coffee and my soul" she answered theatrically, doing a small pirouette. 

Jisoo giggled quietly. "You sound pretty" she answered quietly and Tora beamed at her answer. "Bambam called me dangerously sexy" she announced and strode towards her best friend. "You must've seen his sandy reddish-brown wolf though, so adorable" she laughed, linking her arms with Jisoo and walking on with her in the direction of the cabin. 

Jungkook was just left standing there, a dumbfounded expression on his face. "Jisoo, wait up!" he whined like a little child and jogged after the girls. He felt left out all of a sudden. "So, are you mates?" Jisoo then asked. She could tell from the way she talked about him, but she did not want to assume if that wasn't the case. "Yep, my own big bad wolf, although he acts more like a puppy" Tora answered, nodding her head enthusiastically. 

They were quickly interrupted by a frantic looking Hoseok, who came running in their direction when they were almost at the cabin. "Jisoo, Jungkook! Come quick! I have something to show you!" 

Look at me updating~~ I am a little sad... This book is almost at its end, but I don't want to let it go yet... Help me please ;-;
