Chpt 7 "I WANT HER BACK"

~Clary's POV~

It's three days until the VMAs. Zach and i didn't talk, we barely saw each other. I missed him so much. Every time i saw him i just wanted to run into his arms. But then I remember that he didn't like me. So i contained myself.

On the other hand, Daniel and i have been hanging out a lot. We went to have lunch together all the time, or go to trampoline parks. Since the interview went out on youtube Zach had been getting  a lot of hate, i got some too, but not much. Some people shipped Daniel and i, but other wanted Zary back.

"I'm going to get my dress today" i tell Daniel. Right now we were at the Why Don't We house. Zach was not here of course, Corbyn and Jack played Call of Duty, while Jonah was reading Harry Potter.

"May i see how it looks like?" Daniel asks curious

"Nope, it's a surprise" i smile

"Then i won't tell you what I'm wearing" he teases

"Let me guess. A tuxedo?" I chuckle

He gasps "How did you guess?" He laughs

"I can read minds" i say naturally

"Really? What am I thinking about right now?" He asks

"Mmm Watermelons!" I say

"Wrong, i was thinking what a beautiful pair of blue eyes you've got" he smiles. I blush at his comment

"GUYS" Zach enters the room "I've got us tickets for the game!" He then notices my presence "Isn't there a day you are not here?" He asks me

"Isn't there a day you are not a dick?" I ask him. And Jack laughs

"She got you bro" Corbyn laughs

"Whatever" Zach rolls his eyes "Are you coming?" He asks them

"Hell yeah!" Jonah puts the book down

"Cool then lets get ready and leave" Zach rushes up stairs

"I'm going to Jacob's then, he has been asking me to hang out with him" i tell Daniel

"Well then, see you later" he smiles. I give him a kiss on the cheek and wave goodbye.

~Daniel's POV~

"Daniel?" I hear Zach call out

"Yeah?" I say

"Hey bro" he gets inside my room

"I just want to say i'm sorry" he points out my bruises "You won, i can't have her. Just treat Clary how I couldn't"

"Clary is not a price someone wins Zach. She can choose who to be" I say

"Well, but she choose you, so congratulations" Zach says

"She did not Zach, you pushed her away. And i can tell she still wants to be with you" I mumble what I didn't want to know

"What?" He asks surprised

"Yeah every time you walk in her face lights up, until you treat her like shit, then she becomes dull again" I confess

"Really?" He asks exited

"Again, yes" i say annoyed that the girl i liked still loved the douche bag of her ex

"But she bas to hate me" Zach says

"Don't brag" i roll my eyes

"So i can get her back?" He says full of hope

"Why would you want to do that when you dumped her on first place?" I ask him

"Well i kinda miss her" he confesses

"Man that is just selfish, she gave you a lot of chances to have her back, you've missed those. Just let her move on" i say

"I can't i need her Daniel" he says softly

"You don't need her. She is just not over you and you want to have her on you." I say and push past him to leave the room.

I can't believe him sometimes, how can he treat Clary that way. She is so nice an innocent and he treats her like shit. He doesn't deserve her

~Zach's POV~

Let's get real about how i feel about Clary. Yes i love her. And that's why i pushed her away. I didn't think i could change my way of being. But after i dumped her, I haven't been with another girl. I ignored Atallia's texts, or stranger's winks. I realized i can change, i can change for her. I'm mad at myself for pushing her and Daniel together. Now that i see it from the outside they'd make a really good couple. But i want to be Clary's couple again.

I know i know, it is selfish. I treated her so bad, i don't even think she should take me back. But what do i lose in the try?
