CHAPTER TWO

The alarm screamed at Jeno at 6. Then he woke up with a slight pain from his lower back, he groaned as he sat up on the bed. He massaged his lower back a bit as he yawned. Another miserable day, he thought. After that, he got off from the bed and went to the bathroom freshen himself.

Being slow of him, he brushed his teeth lazily while his eyes closed and he sighed afterward.

'So tired ...' He mumbled with his toothbrush, ended the toothpaste foam splattered on the mirror.

'Jeno! Are you awake?' His mom yelled from outside the room, making him groaned and brushed his teeth quickly. Then he washed his face by slapping his face making him more awake. After that, he lazily went out from the bathroom and greeted by someone throw the clothes on Jeno's face.

'Good morning, my son. Hurry up and your breakfast is ready.' His mom said sweetly, making Jeno sighed.

'Yes, mom.' He said as he takes away the clothes from his face.

'Good.' Then his mom went out from the bedroom. After that, he put on his school uniform and checked himself in the mirror. His hair still messy and he fixed his hair with a comb.

'Another hectic day, Jeno. Fighting!' He said to himself in the mirror cutely and he cringed afterward like why he did that in the first place? Then he took his bag and went downstairs.

'Jeno-ah, have a sit and eat your breakfast.' His mom gestured him to sit down. Then Jeno sat down on the chair and slumped his back on the chair.

'Sit properly, my son and eat your breakfast.' His mom nagged, making Jeno sit properly and started to eat a piece of bread.

'So? How's high school?' His mom asked.

'So so.' Jeno muttered.

'What do you mean so so?'

'I mean it's normal, mom.'

'Well, good for you. Make sure you don't get involved any relationship with anyone, understand?'

'Yes, mom.' Even Jeno not so sure about his sexuality but he let his heart decides everything.

'Good. Make sure you study hard and find a good job in the future.' Then Jeno nodded his head lazily as he continues to eat his breakfast.

'Then how about your friends? Are they doing well?'

'Yes, mom. They all doing well. It's the same old friends after all.'

'That's good. Have fun at school later.'

'Yes, mom.' After he finished his breakfast and he got up from the chair.

'I'll get going, mom.' Jeno said.

'Be safe, sweetie.' Then Jeno nodded his head and headed out to school.

'Yo, Jeno! Over here!' Chenle yelled across the cafeteria, making Jeno facepalmed himself by his annoying friend.

'Yah, don't yell. Everyone is watching.' Renjun slapped Chenle's arm. Then Jeno sat down beside Donghyuck on the bench.

'Why you looked so tired today? What did you do last night?' Chenle asked.

'Nothing, I'm just tired, that's all.'

'Yeah, right. Anyways, the exam starts next week and we better study hard for that.' Chenle said, making Jeno groaned.

'I hate exams.'

'Ayeee, you're good at every subject. So what's the problem with that?' Donghyuck said.
