CHAPTER THIRTEEN

After Jaemin had done his shift, he took off his black apron and put it back on the rack while Jeno was standing outside from the coffee shop waiting for him. Then Jaemin came out from the coffee shop and smiled at Jeno.

'Where are we going?' Jaemin asked.

'Let's go grab something to eat first.' Jeno said as he intertwined his fingers with Jaemin, making Jaemin giggled shyly.

'Okay.' Then both of them went to a restaurant nearby having some early dinner together.

Both of them sat at the table while eating the food silently. Then Jeno put down his spoon and looked at Jaemin who still eating the food deliciously, making him smiled.

'Babe?' Jeno called in a soft tone. Then Jaemin put down down his chopsticks and looked at Jeno with a smile plastered on his.

'Yes?'

'Uhm ... I wanna tell you about something.'

'What is it?'

'You know that I always told you about my parents went out for a vacation, right?'

'Yeah. Why?'

'Uhm ... actually, I lied about it.'

'Hm? What do you mean?' Jaemin tilted his head in confusion.

'I ... Uhm ... My mom is here but my father had passed away for a long time so uhm ... My mom didn't want me to get involved in a relationship with anyone.'

'Your mom didn't allow you to date with someone?' Jaemin frowned sadly.

'Yeah but last night, I already told my mom about this after a few months that we together.'

'So, you hiding our relationship from your mom for a few months already? I thought you already told her already. I don't know because I didn't know that your father had passed away and I'm sorry for that. How dare you lie to me through these months? You know that I wanted to meet your parents for a long time.'

'Yeah, I know but I don't want you to get hurt if I said this to you from the beginning.'

'You should have told me about this then we can wait until your mom allows you to date.'

'But I can't wait.' Jeno whined a bit, making Jaemin laugh at his cuteness.

'Alright alright, fine. Then how your mom reacted about this?'

'She said she wants to meet you today and I promised to her that my love life between you won't affect my studies.'

'You said so. I don't want to be your distraction for your studies.' Then Jeno nodded his head while flashing his infamous eye smile to Jaemin, making Jaemin giggled.

After that, they finished the food and of course, Jeno paid all of it. Then both of them headed out and went to Jeno's house. Both of them entered the house and saw Jeno's mom sitting on the couch while reading a magazine.

'I'm home, mom.' Jeno said, making his mom looked up and smiled.

'Hey, have you bring the boy here?' His mom said.

'Yeah, I did.' Then Jaemin revealed himself and beamed a smile to Jeno's mom.

'Hi, please have a sit here.' His mom offered. Then both of them sat on the couch.

'Wanna drink?'

'No, it's okay, madam.' Jaemin said.

'Alright. What's your name?' His mom asked Jaemin.
