CHAPTER EIGHT

Jeno wore a very simple outfit, a long-sleeve white with red strips shirt (like the media above) and a pair of blue knee-length jeans. He smiled at his appearance in front of the mirror as he fixing his silvered-hair.

'Don't be nervous, Jeno. You've met him a few times already.' He said to himself. Well, he met Jaemin literally every day.

Then someone knocks his bedroom door suddenly, making Jeno sighed and went to open the door.

'Oh Jeno, are you going somewhere today?' His mom asked.

'Yeah. Why?'

'Going out with who?' His mom asked while folding his arm and looking at him sternly. Jeno can't say that he's going out with a boy. So, he lied obviously.

'I'm going out with my friends, mom.'

'Really?'

'Yes.'

'For what?'

'It's Saturday, mom. Don't expect me to study today. I'm tired and I need to relax.'

'Fine. Do whatever you want for today.' Then his mom went out from the room, making Jeno cheered silently.

'Hah. I knew that you couldn't beat me.' He said proudly. Then he looked at the time on his watch, written as 11:30.

'Oh, still got half an hour to go. Whatever, I'm going first.' Then he took his phone and wallet then went out to the coffee shop that they promised to meet there.

Actually, Jaemin is already at the coffee shop waiting for Jeno to arrive. He went there early because he just couldn't wait to see him. Then he saw a familiar figure walking towards him with a surprised face.

'Wow, you're early.' Jeno said, making Jaemin blushed.

'Uhm ... Yeah, because I'm bored.' Jaemin said while chuckled nervously.

'Same for me as well.' Jeno said cheerfully, making Jaemin grinned widely.

'Well, where are we going?' Jaemin asked.

'We're going to the mall of course.' Jeno said happily.

'Okay. Let's go.' Then both of them went to the mall for shopping.

Meanwhile ...

'They didn't hold hands yet?' Chenle asked.

'No they didn't. It'll be so awkward for them.' Renjun said.

'But, they literally met each other every day duh.' Donghyuck said unamusingly.

'I know but both of them are shy.' Renjun said, making Jisung nodded his head.

'Then how about you and your new boyfriend, Mark? Aren't you guys also shy when meeting with each other?' Chenle said, making Donghyuck blushed.

'Hah. I knew it.'

'Aish, we just met each other at school only. Not like this.'

'Well, why don't you ask him out for a date? Duh.'

'Isn't he supposed to ask me first?'

'Yeah right. He's the man of this relationship, not you.' Chenle said while tapping his chin, making Donghyuck rolled his eyes.

'Oh look, they're going somewhere else. We have to follow them.' Renjun whispered. Then all of them went out from the big tree and followed them quietly.

Jeno took Jaemin to the denim store to buy something.

'What are you buying, Jeno?' Jaemin asked as he observing the price of the clothes. It's very expensive he thought and he couldn't afford to buy anything.

'Hmmm, I'm buying some clothes to someone.' Jeno said as he took out a plain dark blue shirt.

'How about this one?' Jeno asked.

'Ah, it's very nice tho.' Jaemin smiled. But inside he's quite jealous.

'Okay, I'll take this one. Let's go find some more.' Jeno smiled. Then Jaemin followed him around the store. He's quite surprised that Jeno bought a lot of denim clothes and jeans. He must be loved that person he thought.

'Wow, are you gonna pay all of this?' Jaemin asked.

'Why? Are you gonna pay for me instead?' Jeno jokingly said, making Jaemin shakes his head furiously. Then Jeno chuckled at his cuteness. Jeno paid for the clothes for almost 500 dollars, making Jaemin's jaw dropped. He's damn rich he thought.

'I'm done. Let's go' Then Jaemin nodded his head and both of them went out from the store.

Meanwhile ...

'I bet those clothes are for Jaemin. No doubt' Chenle said. All of them hid behind the water fountain, observing them from afar.

'How do you know?' Donghyuck asked.

'Well, I could see it from his eyes.' 

'Unbelievable.' Jisung commented.

'Aish you guys, just shh.' Renjun said. Then all of them went quiet.

Jeno handed the shopping bags from the denim store to Jaemin, making Jaemin widened his eyes.

'Hm?' Jaemin asked confusingly.

'It's for you actually.' Jeno said, making Jaemin shakes his head.

'No, I can't take this. It's too expensive.' Jaemin said as he pushing away the shopping bags to Jeno. Then Jeno grabbed Jaemin's hands and handed him the bags.

'It's okay. You can have it. I've got plenty of clothes already. Just take it, I'm sincere tho.' Jeno said, making Jaemin nodded his head and took the bags with shaky hands.

'T-Thank you ...' Jaemin mumbled.

'You can wear it whenever you want. It's yours.'

'How can I repay you for this?' Jaemin pouted a bit, making Jeno smiled.

'Well, can you be my boyfriend?' Jeno bluntly said, making Jaemin's jaw dropped.

'What the ...' Chenle and the other's jaws dropped as Jeno being too straightforward.

'Unbelievable ...' Jisung muttered.

'Uhm ... I'm sorry. I shouldn't say that I'm -'

'Yes I do.' Jaemin said shyly.

'W-what?' Jeno couldn't believe his ears as he shakes his head.

'I-I said I do want to be your boyfriend.' Jaemin said shyly while scraping his shoes on the concrete floor.

'Really?!' Jeno exclaimed excitedly, making Jaemin giggles and nodded his head.

'Oh my god!' Then Jeno hugged Jaemin tightly, making Jaemin surprised at his sudden action. Then Jaemin slowly wrapped his arms around Jeno's body, hugging him back and smiled.

'Finally ...' The stalkers said out loud, making both of them broke the hugs and saw his friends hiding behind the fountain. Exposed.

'What the hell guys?' Jeno said.

'Oops.' Chenle said, making all of them ran away. Then Jeno facepalmed himself. His friends are annoying as hell he thought.

'Jeno, are you okay?' Jaemin asked softly.

'Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry.' Jeno smiled at Jaemin, making Jaemin smiled as well.

'Are you hungry? Wanna grab something to eat?' Jeno asked.

'Sure. Let's go' Then Jeno reached out his hand to Jaemin, making Jaemin smiled widely and gladly took his hand then both of them went to the restaurant hand in hand.
