CHAPTER FOURTEEN

It's Saturday, Jeno's mom decided to pay a visit for Jaemin's mom. Then, she went to Jeno's bedroom wanted to take him along. She knocked the door a few times until she heard a soft "come in" and went inside the bedroom.

'Oh hey mom.' Jeno greeted bubbly.

'Jeno, my son. Would you mind to take me to your boyfriend's house? I want to pay her mom a visit.' His mom asked, making Jeno smiled brightly at her.

'Of course! Let's go then.' Jeno chimed happily, making his mom chuckled.

After that, they both went out from the house and locked the house. Then both of them went into the car and his mom drove to Jaemin's house while Jeno showing the way to the house.

After they had arrived at Jaemin's house, both of them went out from the car and Jeno went to the doorstep and knocked the door a few times.

'Jaemin~~~' Jeno called cheerfully. But there's no one came out. Usually, Jaemin will open the door right away. But this time, he felt weird and had an unusual feeling about this. 

'No one's at home?' His mom asked.

'It can't be. He didn't go to work at this time.' Jeno said while furrowed his eyebrows.

'Just call him then.' Then Jeno took out his phone from the pocket and dialed his boyfriend's number.

"The number that you had dialed is not in service ..."

'Did he changed his number?' Jeno said in confusion. His mom looks worried at the moment, she just wanted to see her old friend.

Then, an old woman from the next door came out and saw two people standing outside the house. Then she walked towards them, making both of them turned around looked at the old woman.

'Sorry for interrupting you guys. Perhaps, you guys are this family's relatives?' The old woman asked.

'Uhm ... We -'

'Yes, we are. Do you know where they are going to?' His mom cuts Jeno off.

'Oh, this little boy's mom went to the hospital just now and it seems very serious. You guys should go check it out at Asan Medical Centre.'

'Okay, thank you.' Both of them didn't waste their time to ask some questions and quickly bowed to the old woman. Then they went back to the car and his mom quickly drove to the hospital.

Jeno kept praying that everything would be fine and started to get worried about his boyfriend and Mrs. Na.

After they had arrived at the hospital, both of them quickly got out from the car and rushed inside the building.

Then his mom quickly went to the counter and asked one of the nurses about her friend.

'Mr. Na Soomin is currently having an operation right now at Hall 2.' The nurse said.

'Okay, thank you. Let's go, Jeno.' His mom said as he pulled Jeno to the operation room. Jeno was nervous as hell right now and he felt sick at the moment. When he's nervous, he'll felt sick or wanted to vomit.

'Are you okay, son?' His mom asked worriedly as he saw Jeno's sickening expression.

'I'm fine, mom. It just I'm so nervous right now.' Jeno said.

After that, they had arrived at the Hall 2 and saw a boy sitting outside the operation room while covering his face with his hands. Then Jeno and his mom walked towards to the boy and it was Jaemin who's sobbing silently into his palms.

'Jaemin?' Jeno called softly, making the boy looked up at Jeno with red puffy eyes. Then Jaemin quickly hugged his boyfriend and continue to cry on his shoulder. Jeno's mom covered her mouth with her hand as she looking at the room.

'Everything will be okay, Jaemin.' Jeno reassured him as he rubbing the boy's back. Jeno's mom didn't want to talk or ask anything. She just let them be and waited for her old friend. She hopes that everything will be fine as she holds her hands together and closing her eyes while waiting for the results.

After couple hours of waiting, the doctor came out from the surgeon room while took off his mask, making the three of them stood up and Jaemin went to the doctor first.

'Is my mom is okay?' Jaemin asked the doctor worriedly, making the doctor smiled at him. Jeno and his mom's face brighten up as they saw the doctor's expression.

'Your mom is fine now but ...' When they heard the word "but" from the doctor's mouth, making their expressions change completely.
