Chapter Twelve

I walk into the stadium of QIU. Took me a while to find Louis but he was there along with his teammates. By the looks of it, they look like they've been here a while.

All of them were drenched in sweat. Oh yeah they have a game this coming Saturday. I sat on the bleachers and watch them jog around the field.

Deja Vou much.

He didn't see me until 10 minutes after. When they were done, he ran up to me, surpringly taking 2 steps at a time. He stumbled on the last one making me laugh a bit.

"You know I meant to do that..." He says, almost out of breath.

"Of course you did. You done?" I ask him and he gave me a nod.

After all the crap Vlad had said in one day, I need a distraction. And Louis is without even trying. I felt someone throw their arm over my shoulder but it wasn't heavy so it couldn't be a boy. I turn around and saw Perrie smiling at me widely. When did she get here?

"You are coming over for dinner, right?" I look at her confusedly and her smile faded. She smacked Louis on the arm making him yelp. "You didnt tell her?!" She snapped.

"About the dinner? Yes I did!" He retorts. "Didnt you get my text?" He asks me.

"I haven't checked my phone yet. Sorry..." I say with a shrug. Perrie rolled her eyes but smiled at me anyway.

"Well you are going. Its Zayn's 21st so all of us have to be there... See you later!" She squeals and runs up to her boyfriend. She's a giddy little thing. Louis held my hand as he took me to his car.

When we reached my aunt's house, he told me to get ready and he's coming back in 45 minutes. After I showered and got dressed, I smiled at my own reflection. Ever since we went to LA, I've been seeing the world differently. I've realized that I have friends again, real ones, who actually care about me.

One night, Milly and the others saw the scars on my wrist while I was washing the dishes. She grabbed my arm and ran her fingers along the stitches. She stared at me with wide eyes and her jaw dropped. She burst into tears and pulled me into a hug. It was the same reaction when Rachel saw it. When they both trapped me in a hug, I almost burst into tears too.

The guys were even more emotional. Especially Niall, he turned pale and covered his face as Louis calmed him down. Liam hugged me with one arm and told things will lighten up. The moment all of then surrounded, I broke into tears. Not sad tears but happy tears. It made me see something I've never seen before.

They care... They would really care if I was gone.

At around 6:30, Louis car pulled over the driveway. I said goodbye to my aunt and the girls before I went out.

The drive was long, to be honest. I didnt know where we're going but it was peaceful and calm and I just needed that for a while. Louis had The Fray playing on his radio so that stopped him from talking.

Perrie forgot to mention the restaurant is somewhere in the country side, near the beach with the docks and everything. Everything was gorgeous; the boats and the yachts light up in the middle of the ocean. I have a feeling Perrie arranged the whole celebration for Zayn.

We walked into this huge white yacht where everyone was sitting on the top. Milly waved at me and ran down the staircase, meeting us at the entrance.

"Mind if we borrow her for a while, yeah?" She asked Louis but pulled me away without even waiting for an answer. I turned around to see him laughing as the rest of the boys met him in the entrance. Milly pulled all the way to the front of the yacht where Rachel and Jess are at. At least I think they're the only there. The other girl I can't recognize.
