Rosie Matthews a 19 year old girl working at her family Diner. Rosie's Diner. She meets a super star, handsome, young yet mysterious man in a black hoodie named Shawn Mendes. Will they fall for each other?
"This is it! i'm meeting your family.. do i look okay?" i asked Shawn "Honey.. you look gorgeous" he says and quickly kisses my lips then rings the doorbell. Moments later Shawn's mum and his sister is at the door. "Shawn!" Aaliyah exclaims and hugs him as tight as possible which makes me laugh at how cute she is "Hi Mrs Mendes.. nice to finally meet you!" i smiled and we hugged "It's amazing to meet you too Rosie! and please just call me Karen.. no need for last name bases" she says making me laugh "Come on through guys!" Karen said and led us to the dining table. All the food was laid out and ready for us to eat.
Shawn's dad was waiting for us when we entered so i greeted him first before sitting down. "Nice to meet you Mr Mendes.." i smiled, shaking his hand "Manny is just fine.. we're not intimidating enough to be called Mr and Mrs Mendes" Manny laughs. We all sat down and started to eat the delicious food that Karen had cooked for us. "So Rosie.." Manny says. Oh great.. questions. "Are you going to a university or college?" he asks "No, i'm not.. but i do have a job at my family's diner.. it's called Rosie's diner" i replied nervously, did they expect me to go to University? "And how did you two meet?" Karen then asks.
"I was working late one night at the diner when Shawn ran inside to get away from a group of screaming fans and.. that's pretty much it.." i laughed. Many questions and sitting in silence later we finally finished all our food. "Let me do the dishes Karen.." i say "No way! your the guest in this house.. you just sit down with Shawn and relax" Karen replies "Please! i insist.. you cooked the amazing dinner that we just ate, the least i could do is do the dishes for you" she looks uncertainly at me for a few moments and gives in, nodding slightly "I feel bad.. but okay" she says "You have nothing to worry about Karen.. don't feel bad.. now, go!" i laugh and push her towards the living room.
"Do you want some tea, honey?" Shawn asked "Oh yes please! i love my tea" i smiled "What do you have?" i added "Uh.. Lemon ginger.. Peach and Mango and Green tea with mint" he says "Peach.. definitely Peach" i nod and finish up the last of the washing up. I then sat on the island, waiting for Shawn to finish up the tea that he's making. "Rosie! once your finished you gotta come and see photos of Shawn when he was younger" Karen laughed "Coming right now!" i say excitedly. I take the cup of tea and walk into the living room.
