Ridge's pov

As I passed the dining room I saw a shocked Kaz, she was sitting there with a dumbfounded expression on her face. Then I heard a heavenly noise in the background, it was like angels. I followed the sounds through hallways and doors to the stage room. As I crept in I was surprised, Jac was singing, not just singing, dancing even. She seemed to float as if she was a cloud, turning gracefully on her toe before jumping and landing lightly.

"If you happen to remember, stop and think of me!" She sang while twirling and laughing, her black dress tripping her up. I crept up behind her, grasping her shoulders making her jump.

"Ridge!" She yelled, blushing in embarrassment.

"What, it's not like you're bad." I said burying my face in her hair making her laugh.

"Well maybe I am?" She joked pushing me away. I then walked to the backstage, picking up a violin and sitting cross legged on the stage.

"Do you play?" Jac asked smiling and sitting down with me.

"Why would I pick it up if I didn't know how to play?" I asked sarcastically beginning to play.

Duncan's pov

She would finally be gone, I would get rid of the only thing blocking my plans! When she came I tried to keep her away from him, to not tempt him with forbidden fruit. But whatever I tried she didn't take to, no matter how much love potion I put in he food, no matter how much I tried to intoxicate her, she didn't love me. Well that wasn't a wise choice, now she was to die. Well she has no one to blame but herself for it, she will be mine, or she will burn.

Kaz's pov

As I finally woke up I realized I had fallen asleep at the dining table. I wondered where Jac and Ridge were, but then I heard the singing, I followed it to the stage room where Ridge was holding Jac, he was just singing the final notes of a song.

"Help me make the music of the night." He sang softly to her, her body limp in his arms.

"I'll take her to bed, goodnight Kaz." He whispered, standing slowly and walking past me, Jac snoring lightly in his arms.
