That night after the party was over Dylan was so tired and he had fallen asleep on the way home, Dax and Maria were mad, and Isabella was trying to soothe everyone.
"Dax, slow down. You're driving way too fast." Isabella warned Dax.
Dax didn't pay any attention to Isabella as he continued to speed down the highway.
"Dax! I said slow down." Isabella yelled a little loader.
Then he stopped he pulled over to the side of the road and put his head on the steering wheel to calm himself down.
"I'm sorry." I'm just really upset right now." Dax explained.
"Let me drive." Isabella said patting his back.
"I can drive Bell."
"Obviously not."
Dax finally gave in and unbuckled his seat belt and walked over to the passenger's side. Isabella had opened her door and was about to get out of the car when Dax stopped her.
"Please get back in." Dax asked.
"Why?" Isabella asked.
"Please."
Isabella got back in the car and Dax closed her door. Then Dax opened the door for her.
"I had to open your door." Dax said.
"You're so weird." Isabella began to laugh.
When they arrived home Isabella put Dylan to bed, as Dax called Maria.
"Why'd you throw them out without letting me give that raisin a piece of my mind?" Maria yelled through the phone. Maria called people with wrinkles raisins. She owned a cosmetic brand and one of her products was an anti-wrinkle cream.
"Mother, I just can't believe they showed up their."
"How'd they know about the party anyway?" Maria asked.
"I have no clue, they just showed up! After two years, they decide to pop up out of nowhere."
"Don't let it get to you sweetie, worrying gives you wrinkles."
"I love you Mother." Dax replied with a sigh.
"I love you too Daxie Cab."
"Daxie Cab, really? Mother, I told you not to call me that!" Dax complained.
"I'll talk to you tomorrow." Maria said as she hung up the phone.
Then Isabella entered the office. She walked over to Dax and stood behind him.
"Daxie Cab?" Isabella laughed.
"Were you listening to our conversation?" Dax said surprised.
"No, I over heard you when I was putting Dylan to bed." Isabella said as she began to massage his shoulders.
"It was a childhood nickname, please don't speak of it." Dax begged.
"Mhm, no I like it." Isabella replied.
"I don't."
"Today went really well." Isabella said changing the subject.
"Yeah, aside from those party crashers."
"Dylan had a good time and that's all that matters to me."
"You're right." Dax said as he reached for her hand. "You should move your things into my room."
"Why?" Isabella asked.
"You're my woman."
"I'll do it tomorrow I guess."
"Tonight it is! Come on." Dax said guiding her. As they made their way into Isabella's room Dax helped her move all of her things into his room. Dax had two closets in his room so her things went into the empty one. When Dax was placing her shoes in the closet she hid her Diary under the bed. She didn't want him to read it, and she could no longer hide it under the pillow because Dax would definitely find it while he was making up the bed.
"All done!" Dax said as he walked over to Isabella. "Now you have to sleep with me every night."
"I don't have to." Isabella countered.
"Will you?"
"I'll think about it."
Dax just smiled at Isabella and she knew what was coming next. Dax picked her up and gently threw her on the bed. He began to tickle her stomach and she laughed uncontrollably.
"Ticklish are we?"
"Da-Dax ! Stop please!" Isabella continued to laugh. "Okay! Okay! I'll sleep in here!"
"Thanks babe." Dax said kissing her cheek.
About an hour later they drifted off to sleep.
Babe, where's my green tie?" Dax said panicing that next morning.
He had just woken Isabella up from a good dream about Orlando Bloom.
"It's around your neck Dax."
"Oh."
Twenty minutes later all three of them were making their way down stairs.
"Give me a hug little man." Dax said as he hugged and kissed Dylan on the cheek. "Now give me some sugar." He said turning it to Isabella.
"I love you." Isabella and Dylan said in unison.
"I love you both. And babe, will two stop by and bring me lunch later?" Dax asked.
"Sure." Isabella replied.
"Wear one of those dresses like last time." Dax said with a wink.
Then Isabella closed the door. "You're daddy is weird." Isabella said kissing Dylan's cheek.
"Tell me about." Dylan said.
Then Isabella chuckled.
Meanwhile Dax was making his way to work. He was tapping his thumb on the steering wheel while he listened to music, then he looked in his rear view to see a semi truck speeding behind him. He tried to move over into the other lane but he was too late. The semi truck's breaks had broken and the truck wouldn't stop. It rear ended Dax and sent his car tumbling down the road.
Ten minutes later Isabella got a call from the hospital notifying her that Dax had just been in a car accident. She dropped the phone and ran to get Dylan.
As Isabella drove to the hospital her heart was beating so fast. When she finally arrived at the hospital She grabbed Dylan and ran inside to find Dax.
"Where is he?" Isabella yelled. "Dax Walker! Where is he?"
"He's in surgery ma'am. You'll have to wait here." The nurse told her.
Isabella's eyes widened and she felt tears run down her face. One minute Dax was leaving for work and the next he was in a car accident.
"Mommy. Is Daddy going to be okay?" Dylan asked almost in tears.
"Yeah, sweetie Daddy is going to be just fine." Isabella said trying to calm Dylan down. But in actuality she had no clue if Dax was going to be okay.
