Mikey cast a fervent glance over at Frank. The other man was deliberately dropping everything on his way from the front room to the kitchen so that he could bend down and show Mikey his ass.

God, Mikey hated him.

No, he really, really loved him.

Gah! It frustrated him so much. He scowled and made himself look away from Frank's behind. This wasn't fair. He was sure that Frank was trying to make him blush, as every time Mikey had blushed in the past two days, Frank would start giggling that infuriatingly adorable giggle of his and kiss Mikey again.

Mikey was finding Frank very frustrating. He never thought he'd be dating Frank when he first met him. However, he did know that Frank was the hottest thing he'd ever seen.

It was very embarrassing, but Mikey was pretty sure by now that Gerard was gay too, so he couldn't complain.

One amazing thing that had happened since Frank decided to kiss Mikey was that Mikey began to remember his days. His brain no longer reset. Mikey could even vaguely remember the few months before the kiss. This was good; this was progress. Mikey could remember that woman he spoke to every Tuesday. He liked talking to her about Frank, of course.

She tried to talk to him about Gerard sometimes, but Mikey would always get upset and make her change the subject.

Mikey was a real pussy.

He cursed himself for it, but he couldn't change it. Frank said that it was just him trying to deny Gerard's disappearance, but Mikey wasn't so sure. He just hated talking about his stupid fucking brother-

Yeah, okay, he needed a bit of help coping with Gee's disappearance.

Frank noticed that his friend had lost interest in his ass and huffed, finishing his journey to the kitchen. He'd offered to make coffee, and Mikey was impatiently waiting for it. After about five minutes, the delicious smell wafted through the house, and Mikey sat up a little straighter.

Frank came in with two mugs, setting one down on the table beside Mikey.

"There you are, your majesty," he mocked.

"Shut up," Mikey mumbled, embarrassed. Frank gave his head an affectionate hit and wandered off to find his own place to sit. Mikey took a sip from his coffee and smiled.

He loved this new life.

Frank watched Mikey broodingly. He didn't often wear a brooding look, but fuck Mikey was looking like an adorable little child with his coffee. It wasn't fair on Frank's poor heart.

Mikey was quite different to his brother, with more of an adorable look than a hot one, and to be honest, Frank liked the change. Mikey just made him fangirl so much more. When Mikey did something adorable, Frank felt like fainting much more than if Gerard did something hot.

It was weird, to say the least.

Frank surveyed the lanky male over his own coffee. He was annoyed that Mikey had stopped looking at his ass when he decided to go to the kitchen, but he supposed that Mikey had probably had a lot of secretive staring when Frank's back was turned.

That idea was a little terrifying.

Frank didn't mind it though, and that was weird. He remembered when he'd first seen Mikey... oh, man, memories.

Frank walked out of the studio, getting bored already. He'd just spent a while with Pencey Prep, then listened to that 'My Chemical Romance' bunch. He hadn't yet seen the bassist and he didn't know the other guitarist, but he and Gerard Way got on pretty well.

He was waiting outside for Gerard and his brother, who was apparently joining them. That made sense; the brother would most likely be going home with Gerard since they apparently lived together. He heard two sets of footsteps approaching and smiled, guessing that they were Gerard and that brother.

Gerard came into view, smiling broadly. Behind him...

Fuck, Frank thought numbly. Behind Gee was an awkward looking male. But he was so good-looking, Frank wanted to jump on him and start making out with him immediately. Bad Frank, he chided himself. Those are bad thoughts. Stop. He sighed and waited for Gerard to introduce them.

"Mikey, this is Frank," Gee said to his hot brother. "You know, the guy who sits outside the studio and listens to us religiously." Mikey nodded slowly, his eyes flickering up and down Frank. Holy shit, he was hot. Frank had more urges to jump on him. "Frank, this is my brother, Mikey," Gee went on, oblivious to the obvious growing tension between the two males.

Maybe the tension was Frank's imagination. He hoped that there was tension. Mikey was a cute guy. The lanky male stuck his hand out nervously.

"I hope we can be friends," he mumbled. GOD HIS VOICE IS HOT, Frank's head boomed. Ouch, his heart whimpered. I don't want to be just friends.

Shut up, he told them both. You're annoying me.

He took Mikey's hand and smiled, both his head and heart now moving twenty times faster than was healthy. They were technically holding hands.

Mikey quickly retracted his grip and looked away, embarrassed. Oh, man, that was cute.

Stop, Frank wished. He sighed and put on another smile, starting to walk away with Gee, leaving the hot- no, adorable- no, cute- NO, lanky male to follow.

Frank watched Mikey a few years later, wondering how his crush had developed from a first meeting thing, to making out with Gee, to going back to Mikey. Goddamn emotions.

They sucked so much.

Frank realized Mikey hadn't yet taken his medicine, so quickly stood up and scampered into the kitchen. He took the red pill and the blue pill and ran back in. Mikey looked a little confused until Frank showed him the pills.

"Oh," he said, puzzled expression clearing. Frank waited for the inevitable "I'm not depressed," or "What are they," but it never came. Mikey was looking up at him expectantly.

"You remember them?" He asked slowly. Mikey nodded and held his hand out. Frank gave him the pills and watched as he downed them with coffee. He'd been trying to slowly make less coffee for him to be less of a strain on Mikey's poor heart, but if the other male had noticed, he wasn't saying anything.

Frank gave his forehead a gentle kiss, and then walked back over to his couch, smiling.

"So..." Mikey frowned. "Are we boyfriends now or what?"

Frank almost choked on his coffee. "What... what makes you ask that?"

"Well, you keep kissing me." Mikey frowned. "I'm pretty sure friends don't kiss each other."

Frank pondered that, then got back up and walked over to Mikey, sitting down on top of him.

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" he asked quietly, running his fingers over Mikey's jaw. God, Mikey's face had so many sharp angles it was ridiculous.

"Yes," Mikey replied almost immediately. He then flushed and looked away.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" Frank asked, grinning. Mikey seemed to realize he was asking him out.

"You motherf-"

"Will you?"

Mikey relented, a small smile on his lips. "Yes."
