A/N- So after rereading the last chapter I posted, I've realized it sounds pretty stupid and there's way too much sarcasm, I don't know if I'll take it down or just leave it up. Also I don't think I will have Geo be adopted by Mikey just because that's too perfect and far-fetched. That's all!
That's when I realized it is Gerard Way.
"Who is this? Fall Out Boy?" He jokes
"Yeah, I think so" I reply playing along
"So you like My Chem?" He asks
"Yeah, along with various other bands" Geo replies
"Cool, like who?" Gerard drawled
"Uhm Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Sleeping with Sirens, Panic! At the Disco, and 5 Seconds of Summer" I answer
"Plus Green Day and Mayday Parade" Geo adds
"Yeah, we like pretty much the same music" I tell him
"What are your names?" He asks
"I'm Helena, but I prefer Lena" I respond
"And I'm Geovanni, but let's just say the last guy who called me that didn't have a happy ending, so please call me Geo" Geo jokes
"Ok, so Geo and Lena?" Gerard questions
"Yup!" I confirm
"How do you know each other?" He asks
"We're besties!" Geo says using his 'valley girl voice' his words not mine
"Mind if I sit down?" Gerard asks motioning to the spot on the couch next to Geo
"Nope" we both reply simultaneously
"Thanks" he says sitting down "so any hobbies?"
"Let's see... I play guitar and I love to sing, pretty sure I suck at it but meh" I reply "oh! And I like to read"
"I like to draw, even though I suck at it-" I cut Geo off
"No you don't! You're great at drawing and just art in general!"
"And you're great at singing but you always say you aren't!" He exclaims "anyways, I like to draw, I also play guitar and drums"
"Who's your favorite in the band?" Gerard asks
"Uhm, I don't know probably you or Frank to be honest" I reply
"Aww, I feel so special" Gerard says
"I like Mikey, I don't know why I just do" Geo says
"I love your hair by the way" Gerard randomly says
"Oh thanks! I love yours too, I think once this fades I might dye my hair red, or black I dunno" I reply
"Okay so be honest with me, do you guys like living here?" Gerard whispers
"It's okay, I like not having to go to school but I also kind of miss having a family, plus no one really likes us here" Geo answers
"Why not?" Gerard asks
"Says we're 'emo freaks'" I say put air quotes around emo freak " we really don't care anymore" I reply
"God, these teenagers are stupid" Gerard says
"Agreed" I respond
"Anyhoo, there's some people I need to go talk to so I'll see you later?" He asks
"Sure" I shrug
Once Gerard leaves Geo asks me "Do you think he'll adopt one of us?"
"I don't know, there's other people here that he could choose" I respond
"I don't want to leave you" he responds
"I don't either, but in 2 years we'll both be going into college and we'll figure out some way to room together" I say being optimistic
"I think he'll adopt you anyways" Geo tells me
"I don't know, he's a guy, he lives with a bunch of guys, he'd probably have an easier time taking care of a guy" I say
"I guess" he says
"If all of the lead singer of our favorite bands we're here right now looking to adopt who would you choose?" I ask
"To be honest, I think I'd pick Alex" he says
"ATL Alex?" I ask
"Yeah" he tells me
"I'd pick Gerard to be honest, I love the rest of them but like with how much Jack runs around naked in camera I don't want to know how much he does that off of camera, the 5sos boys are still kind of young, Fall Out Boy I don't really know why, then Sleeping with Sirens, Green Day, and Mayday Parade I
don't know that well, oh and Panic! isn't a band anymore so it would only be one person" I explain
"Those are all good points" he tells me
"Why thank you" I smile "if you get adopted you have to promise to call me or Skype me or something everyday"
"Of course, but only if you do the same" he replies
"Well obviously" I roll my eyes
Gerard walks back in the room and looks a bit nervous
"Okay guys, I talked to Ms. Whatever her name is about adopting one of you, as of right now I can only adopt one of you, but you guys can see each other as often as you like" he tells us
"Okay" we nod
"So, it's nothing against you Geo it's just I've always wanted a little girl so I'm adopting Lena" Gerard tells us looking more nervous then ever
"Okay" we nod again
"Is that okay?" He asks
"Sure" I shrug then turn to Geo "now?"
"Now. On the count of 3" he says
"Okay, 1"
"2" he says
"3" we shout together then scream like girls at a one direction concert for a solid 10 seconds
"YOU'RE GETTING ADOPTED!!!" Geo shouts
"I'M GETTING ADOPTED!" I shout back
"Wait? So you guys aren't disappointed?" Gerard asks confused
"Oh no, we're disappointed, but we'll still see each other and we'll be going to college in 2 years so we're just happy one of us finally got adopted" I explain
"Oh, okay. Well when do you want to leave? I don't know how much you have to pack..." He trails off
"Uhm, not that much. I'll probably need about 2 hours" I respond
"Okay, how about we leave around 4:30" Gerard suggests
"That's fine with me"
"Great! I'm just going to go call the guys and tell them to clean up a bit, and to actually be dressed. You never know what to expect from them" he shakes his head
"You act the same way" I point out
"True" he laughs
"Okay I'll go start packing while you call them" I say
"Alright I'll be up in a bit" he says the walks off leaving me and Geo in the front room of the house I plan to live in again after 4:30 today.
