Sequel to What happens in College Where after Mari wakes up from her coma and loses her memory.
It's up to Wes, their friends and family to help her remember.
Wes's pov I'm kinda upset that Mari doesn't remember anything but amnesia can easily be fixed with showing her memories. "Why don't we let her sleep now?" I whisper to Mari, after Paige yawns. She nods and I set our baby back in the crib and leave the room. We go back to Mari's hospital room and sit on the bed. "So when and where did we meet?" She asks, curiously. "We met in college, five years ago" I reply. "What happened during college?" "Well, on both of our first day at college, I was looking for the tour group when I accidentally bumped into you" I tell her. "And after that we got together?" Mari questions. "We started off as friends for a few days but then we confessed that we loved each other and then we got together" I state. "What happened next?" She asks, intrigued. "After dating for a few months, we went to a college party, where we both got really drunk and had sex" I explain to her. She blushes in embarrassment. "Babe, there's no need to be embarrassed" I reassure her, stroking her arm. "Then what happened?" "The next morning, when we woke up. We talked about it either being a mistake or not. And we both agreed that it wasn't a mistake" I reply. "We started hanging out more often but I started noticing that you were different" "How so?" She asks, confused. "Well you were getting sick a lot and you were tired all the time. Then one day, when we were gonna hang out, you said you needed to talk to me. And you told me you were pregnant" I explain. "Oh" She mutters. "How did you react?" "I said that it's an amazing thing that happened but you weren't so sure so I convinced you that it was a good thing. And we decided to keep it" I state. "So we had a baby in college?" Mari asks. "Sort of. About a month later, when you were three months along, you told me you had to leave" I say, my heart shattering at the memory. "I left college?" "Yeah, you even offered me to go with you but I told you I couldn't" I tell her, dropping my head in shame. "Why couldn't you?" She questions me, tears in her eyes. "I never told you Mari but it was because I was selfish and wanted to graduate" I explain, tears running down my face. "So you left me alone, to be a single mother?" She accuses me. "No! no. Two months after you left, while I was being miserable, I got a text from you that made me come back to you" I admit. "What was the text?" She asks me. I get out my phone and scroll through my messages and find the text then show it to her. Beautiful Mari: Hey. Just in case you're still interested.

Beautiful Mari: Here's our little girl😙. Mari smiles with tears in her eyes at the text. "And you came back so we could be a family?" She asks me. I nod and put my phone away. "Then four months later, you gave birth to Jenny" I state, smiling. "What does she look like now?" She asks, curiously. I pull out my phone again and show her a picture of Jenny not long after her fourth birthday.

"She's beautiful" Mari comments. "And here's Daniel" I say and show her a picture of Daniel.

"He's adorable" She comments. "And I'd better tell you that after Jenny was born, I proposed" I inform her. "And I said yes?" She gasps. I nod. "About eight months later, we got married, went on our honeymoon and when we got back, your parents surprised us with buying us a house. We don't live there anymore. We moved to a new house after we found out you were pregnant with Paige" I tell her. "When can I go home?" She suddenly asks. "You can go home tomorrow but your parents are still looking after Jenny and Daniel. And I'm gonna stay here to keep an eye on Paige until she can come home" I explain. "I guess I can stay here till Paige can come home too" She replies. "Ok" "Do I work?" Mari asks. "Yeah, you used to be a ballet teacher but you retired and started working at Smosh games" I state. "What's Smosh games?" I'll show you later, but it's a YouTube channel that we do stupid stuff on" I explain. "You work there too?" She asks me. "Yeah, I was a stay at home dad because Jenny was still a year old. But after your first day, you helped me get a job there" I reply. "And what happened then?" "We met our friends and you reunited with your old friends from high school, Olivia and Courtney, and I reunited with my old college roommate, Joven" I state. "Ok but can we continue later? I'm trying to process everything" Mari says. "Sure and don't be scared to ask your parents or our friends for some memories" I tell her. She smiles and nods. I think she might remember. It's slow progress but we're getting there.
