Chapter five Flitz's proposal

Flitz's pov
It's been a couple of weeks since Mari got out of the hospital and went home, and even though she still has amnesia, she's still being a good mom to the kids.
Paige also went home but it's been revealed that she has asthma like her dad.
Wes doesn't have a problem with his asthma but Paige's asthma is really bad that a few times she doesn't breathe in the morning, making Wes, Mari and the rest of us really worried about her.
Boze and I have a strong relationship, I even moved out of my apartment two months ago to live with her, in her apartment.
I know Boze and I haven't been together for a year yet but I wanna propose to her.
I know it's too soon but I love her so much and I've never felt this way about a girl before.
So I've made my decision.
I plan on proposing at Daniel's first birthday party tomorrow.
Everyone is gonna be so surprised but Boze is gonna be blown away.
The next day, I wake up in bed with Boze layed beside me.
"Hey, baby Boze" I greet, smiling.
She then opens her eyes and smiles at me.
"Hello, Mr space wizard" She greets back.
We cuddle up to each other.
"If there's anything I love that I wish could never end, it's cuddling with you" I admit and she giggles.
"I don't want this to end either but we have to get ready for Daniel's party" Boze replies.
I at first was thinking about just staying in bed and not going but then I remembered what I had planned.
I also couldn't just miss my nephew's birthday.
"Ok then" I sigh and get out of bed.
Me and Boze have breakfast then get dressed.
(Boze)

(Flitz)

We then call an Uber because I can't drive and Boze doesn't have a car yet.
Uber gets here, we tell him to take us to the address and we arrive at the Johnson house.
We say thanks to the Uber, get out and knock on the door.
Wes answers the door.
"Hey Flitz. Hey Boze" He greets, smiling and hugs us.
"Hey Wes" I greet, smiling.
"Hey, how's Mari doing and the kids?" Boze asks, worried.
"Mari's doing ok and the kids are excited to see everyone" Wes replies.
We nod and Wes let's us in.
"Party's in the back yard, I just need to check on Paige because she's been having bad asthma attacks" He tells us then runs upstairs, to Paige's room.
"Poor Paige. It's really hard for her to have asthma attacks and she's only two months old" Boze says, tears forming in her eyes as she looks upstairs.
"Yeah, but all we can do is hope for her asthma to calm down and she can grow up and have a better life" I tell her and wrap my arm around her waist.
It's really hard on all of us to see Paige like this. Wes blames himself for passing asthma onto her but the rest of us blame Peter.
I bet you're wondering what happened to him well I'mma tell you about that day.
After Wes left the apartment with Paige, after we got her back, Shayne, Damien, me, Sohinki and Lasercorn beat the shit out of him.
Then we pushed him down the apartment stairs to make it look like an accident.
I understand if it makes us seem like bad people but it was justice! Peter tried to take a newborn baby away from her family, we just went to get her back and give Peter what he deserved.
"Well, why don't we head outside and see everybody else?" Boze asks me.
I smile and nod then we walk out to the backyard.
"Auntie Boze! Uncle Flitzy!" Jenny squeals, running up to us.
"Hi Jen Jen, you've gotten so big" Boze says as she hugs the little girl.
I hug her and she runs off to play.
I look to see who's here.
I see Mari, sat with Daniel on her lap as she talks to Joven, Courtney and Noah.
I also see Mari's parents and Wes's mom, sorting out the drinks.
I see Olivia, Shayne, Damien and Keith playing with the kids, and Lasercorn with a video camera probably recording the party.
I then get an idea and walk over to him and whisper something into his ear.
He agrees and we get on with the party.
I talk with everyone and play with the kids, have some cake and we all watch Daniel open his presents well more like Jenny doing it for him.
We all also took turns checking on Paige because she would cry every ten minutes.
I now think that I should put my plan into action.
I ask Lasercorn to film the whole thing then I stand at the centre of the yard.
"Hey! Can I have your attention please?" I ask.
Everyone looks at me, giving me their full attention.
"I just want to do something special for the birthday boy and for all of y'all so please be amazed by the great Ritzy Flitzy" I announce and everyone cheers.
Some hot beats start playing and break down into some moves so fast, that nobody can touch me.
After pulling off a caterpillar move then going into a quick spin, I stand up straight and make eye contact with Boze then point my finger to her while slowly making steps towards her.
I then hold out my hand for her to take.
She smiles and takes my hand then I lead her back to where I was dancing and quickly dip her like a Tango move, then pull her back up and hold both her hands, making direct eye contact.
"Boze, you make me feel things that I have never..felt before.
I want to spend the rest of my life with you and never be apart" I confess, bringing tears to eyes as she smiles.
I then reach into my back pocket, pulling out a small, black box and get on one knee.
Everyone gasps and Boze covers her mouth with her hands.
I open the box to reveal a diamond engagement ring.

"Ericka Bozeman, will you do me the honour of being part of my duet?" I propose.
Boze looks at me in shock, tears streaming down her face as she thinks about her answer.
I look at the others, they all shocked but Wes is giving me a smile of respect and giving me a thumbs up.
This is so nerve wracking.
How did Wes do this when he was nineteen? I'm twenty seven (I know he's not really but roll with it) and I'm doing this now.
"Yes!" Boze exclaims.
I look at her in surprise that she actually said yes.
"Really?" I question her.
"Yes Flitzypoo! I will!" She exclaims, smiling widely.
I smile then slide the ring on her finger and stand up for her to jump into my arms and kiss me.
Everyone else applauds and cheer for us then hug and congratulate us.
After the party, Lasercorn offers us a ride home and we accept.
On the way home, he congratulates us on our engagement and we talk about what's been happening at work since he left Smosh games and we finally get home.
We get up to our apartment and sit on the couch to watch TV then order Chinese food then just lie in bed, cuddling.
We're actually engaged!

Sorry I took so long to update this story, I've been so busy with homework and my other story that I forgot about this one but today I remembered it and wrote this chapter.
