Wes's pov
Jenny's now seventeen and is starting college in a few months, the only problem is that she hasn't chosen which one to go to.
But when she leaves, I'm gonna miss my little cupcake.
Daniel's at school today and Jenny's at Katie's house, discussing college options.

Jenny's pov
I'm with Katie, going through which colleges would be perfect for us.
"How about Vegas Rich College?" Katie suggests.
"Too basic, too far and too expensive. Besides, I've been to Vegas and it's a rough place" I reply.
"Ok. What about Manhattan?" Katie asks.
I shake my head and look at another college brochure.
"Katie! How does California Learners College sound?" I ask, excitedly.
"Let me see" She says.
I hand her the brochure and as she reads it, she smiles.
"This is perfect!" She exclaims.
"Do you know anyone who went there or is there?" I ask her.
"Don't you?" She questions me.
"I never asked if any of my family went" I reply with a shrug.
"Well, no one I know went there" She informs me.
"Well, we could ask my Aunt Boze" I suggest.
Katie nods and we leave her house to go to Uncle Flitz and Aunt Boze's house.
We arrive and knock on the door.
Ryan opens the door.
"Hey Jenny" He greets.
"Sup Ryan?" I greet my little cousin and high five him.
"Is your Mom home?" I ask him.
He nods and goes to get her.
Aunt Boze runs to us, squealing.
"Hey girls" She greets us.
"Hi Aunt Boze" I greet back, smiling.
"What brings you here?" She asks.
"We've found a college that we're interested in" I reply.
"Oh! Congratulations!" She exclaims, excitedly.
"Thanks but we need to know somebody who used to go there or is there" I tell her.
"Well, which college is it?" She asks me.
"California Learners College" Katie tells her.
Aunt Boze looks at us with surprise and nervousness.
"Are you ok?" I ask, concerned.
"Yeah Sugar, I'm ok and I did go there" She replies.
"Really?" Katie asks, curiously.
"Yeah, in fact so did your parents" She tells me.
I'm shocked to hear this.
Wait! My parents met in college, does this mean that they met at California Learners College.
"They did?" I question in a whisper.
"Yeah, my college roommate was your Mom and when she met your Dad, she was always getting back late and really happy" Aunt Boze informs me.
"Wow" I mouth to myself.
"Why don't you go ask them about it?" She suggests.
"Ok" Katie replies.
"Thanks Aunt Boze" I thank her and hug her.
"Anytime Sugar" She replies.
Me and Katie leave then walk to my house.
We arrive and I open the front door.
"Dad! Can we talk to you?" I call but don't get an answer.
I roll my eyes as I think he's in his computer room, playing video games again.
I tell Katie to wait in the kitchen while I get Dad.
I go into his computer room and see him playing Assassins Creed.
I sigh and tap his shoulder. He screams and jumps then looks at me with a scared look on his face.
"Hi Dad" I greet, smiling innocently.
"Jenny, don't scare me when I'm playing" He tells me for the fourteenth time.
"This is important" I tell him.
He follows me to the kitchen.
"Hey Katie" He greets my BFF.
"Hi Mr Johnson" She greets back.
"Dad, we've decided on a college" I state.
"Really? Which one?" He asks.
"California Learners College and we went to see if Aunt Boze knew anything about it and she told us that you and Mom went there" I explain.
Dad looks shocked but doesn't say anything.
"Dad, can we please go there?" I ask him.
He looks unsure and tries to avoid eye contact.
"I know you and Mom made mistakes there but I won't. You've raised me to be the opposite of you" I tell him.
"Please Mr Johnson? This is the only college we both like and agree on" Katie adds.
"Exactly. We're running out of time to choose. Please?" I beg.
He looks at us with a straight face which quickly turns into his usual smile.
"Why not? You should have a go at it" He replies.
Me and Katie cheer then I hug my Dad.
"Thank you so much Daddy. I promise you won't regret it" I say.

A few months later, it's the day I leave for college.
I get ready.
