First Day Of School

My Hello Kitty Birthday clock rings in my ear and a jump out of bed. I look around my room and see empty space, darkness then I remember...... "My eyes are shut" I whisper to myself. I open my eyes and get out of bedroom grab my phone and check the time. I'm shocked when I see it is 6 in the am.

I immediately start sorting through my closet, looking for something to wear. "Abby, hurry! It is almost time to leave" my mom shouts. "Almost done!" I reply. As soon as I find an outfit, I sprint into the bathroom and take a shower.

I skip down the stairs to find my dad fiddling with his tie. When he notices me, he smiles and says "morning sweetheart". I just simply wave and smile in his direction.

I attempt to steal a piece of bacon from the pan, but my mom enters the kitchen just in time. "And exactly what do you think your doing?" she says in jokingly manner. I turn around and give her my best puppy eyes. "Nice try, move it young lady " she said.

The car ride to school, my brand new school, was a long one. Just in case your wondering, yes, I just passed middle school and headed for high school. Honestly, I feel like I have been run over by 25 monster trucks. I feel like puking my eyeballs out. I have no idea what high school has I store for me." Honey, were here" my dad says. And I am about to find my answer I say to myself.

Hi guys pls dont judge me too harshly. This is my first book so there should be tons of mistakes.
