First Day Of School

Fro-Yo

Owen and I make our way back to the girls who are currently at the swings, and judging from their expecting smiles, they know we've made up. I bet they were even listening in on our conversation.

"So I'm guessing everything is fine between you two?" Riley's the first to ask and Owen and I just nod.

"Finally! I thought you two would never be able to look each other in the eye again!" Becca exasperates which makes me laugh

"Wait, so if only Abby was mad at me then why did the rest of you give me the cold shoulder as well?" Owen asks looking between each of the girls.

"She's our friend! We most definitely were not going to leave her alone with the forbidden one!" Cassidy replies and I give her a questioning look

"Oooookkkkkaaaayyyyyy" Owen says shaking his head. "Why don't we go back to my place for some fro-yo"

"You can get fro-yo delivered to your house?" Raven says her eyes lighting up

"No, I have a fro-yo machine in my room" Owen says while typing furiously on his phone.

"Even better!" She exclaims and we all give her a weird look.

"What? I like fro-yo!" Raven defends making me giggle.

"Oh we can tell!" Cass says shaking

We walk into Owen's house. Scratch that. We walk into Owen's castle. They are a billion hallways that led to a trillion rooms with secret doors and compartments. I'm gonna need a GPS just to find toilet paper.

We walk up the stairs and down a broad hallway with baby blue walls. Owen stops at the last door and types a password into the smart security system on the wall. He opens the door and let's us in.

I was expecting to see a normal room. You know, bed, TV, door for a closet and a bathroom. But no. This was no normal room. This was an apartment inside a house. There was a TV and a bed. There was a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom. But there was also a several couches spaced out with a coffe table, a study table in the corner facing the balcony that stretched the whole room, a mini fridge as well as some cupboards and a giant shelf filled with books and video games as well as pictures of his family.

"Woah! No ways! This is your room?" I ask in shock at the many video games in the shelf.

"Yep. And I'm thinking of making it better,you know?" Owen shrugs.

"No I don't know! What possibly could be better than this?" Becca says and I nod my head in agreement.

"Well, since you asked," Owen says, grabbing a remote control and pressing a big green button in the middle. Suddenly the wall next to the shelf flips and a blueprint n the other side comes into view. The curtains also automatically close, making the room darker. The only light sources are the many small fairy lights on the ceiling and walls and the blueprint that glows.

"So as you can see I think this bookshelf is a waste of space and is the perfect size to fit in this wall over here, so if we fit it into this wall I could have space for a fuseball table and even though I do have one its all the way downstairs. Oh and, I could move my bed over to the right and place a trophy case right there and message board above it with pictures of all my friends like you guys...."

"Okay! Owen calm down! Don't forget to breathe!" Raven says with her eyes wide.

"Hey! You asked" Owen says with his hands up and presses the green button again and everything goes back into its original state.

"Anyway,let's do what we came here to do!" Cassidy says and Raven's face lights up again.

"Right. Fro-yo!" Owen says and walk over to the fro-yo machine near the big flat screen HD TV.

"What flavor would you like?" Owen asks looking at me and I pretend to be in deep thought just so I don't have to make eye contact. When I think of a flavor, I open my eyes and look at Owen to see his already putting some fro-yo into Raven's cup. "Done thinking Abbygail?" Owen asks me sarcasticly. I guess he knows I wasn't actually thinking. Awkward.

"Yea. Cherry" I say and puts the yogurt into my cup. When he's done we go sit down on the couches and pick a movie to watch.

"I wanna watch Decendents!" Riley says

"I was thinking maybe we could watch Teen Beach Movie!" Cass says

"Hey! Let's go classic! 16 Wishes!" Rebecca says

"That's no classic! That movie sucks!" Raven says

"Everyone knows High School Musical is the Original Disney movie!" I say

"How about Disney Pixar?" Owen suggests and we all nod our heads

"Let's go Frozen!" Becca says

"No ways! Cars!" I say

"Planes is better!" Riley says

"Moana all the way!" Raven says

"Fine! No Disney!" Owen says and looks at his book shelf.

"Let's watch Mean Girls then" I say and we all agree, eventually.

So I guess things are back to normal now. But maybe just for now.

Yo yo yo. Lele here, giving you a double update! Boo yah! Anyways how's life? Thanks for reading it means a lot and I hope you're enjoying the book. My updates are gonna be slower because I really want to make the chapters as good as they can be and I will also be away from home a lot soooooooo
