Bisexual

I'm bisexual, with lesbian tenancies.

A couple years ago I came out to my parents as bisexual. They immediately took away all my freedom and I was no longer allowed to have sleepovers because I might be interested in them. Basically, I wasn't allowed to be alone with ANYONE in case I wanted to fuck them, cause you know, bisexual means slut! A few weeks later I told my mom that I was actually just curious and that I was wrong, and that I was straight. I was then given back all my freedom and allowed to have girls over for sleepovers again.

Now, 2 years later, I'm on my second girlfriend of then year (ALMOST dating her :D) and I find it absolutely ridiculous that my parents thought that I would fuck anything that moved. I'm bisexual, not a slut. I still have self control and I'm not attracted to EVERYONE, I'm attracted to both genders though. I see no problem with this.

Why is being gay still such a surprise to people? It's 2014 for fucks sake! Why does it matter if you like the same sex? Gays in general are really nice, I find gays much more accepting than I find straight people.

I've spent the past few years with a mother and a father. They are married and today I was watching my dad do something and I thought to myself "I hope I find a man like him". Then I realized, it doesn't matter if I end up with a girl or a guy, with someone older or younger, someone that is super smart or average. LOVE IS LOVE.

"Too much blood has flown from the wrists of people, shamed for those they chose to kiss"

Let's end this. I don't care what your sexuality, age, race, political standing, anything is! If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. Don't go around assuming that because someone is black that they have to be good at basketball or love watermelon. Don't assume that since I'm a white girl that I spend all day shopping and taking selfies. Don't assume that since someone is only a teenager that they don't understand pain.

We ALL have experience with some type of hate, and it's time that stopped. Stand up for what's right.
