The Titling Challenge 2014

Rules

~No voting on your own story. It's a tad bit selfish. None of the votes for your story will count if you do, not even other people's.

~Because the voting isn't the deciding factor of the winner (it merely is taken into account as a sign of the story's popularity), please vote for all stories that you especially like EXCEPT YOUR OWN! Make sense? To sum it up, there's no maximum number of stories you can vote for.

~Votes may be collected only during the writing period. Once judging begins, any additional votes will not be counted.

~Votes on the story itself are not considered. This is so that I can assure nobody sneakily votes for their own. Only votes on this story count.

~No hating on competitors' stories. If I catch this, you will face immediate disqualification because that is NOT okay.

~Your story can be short or long, whichever you like, provided that it is completed within the designated time. It may be any number of parts, but I ask that you keep it below 100 total pages, to ensure that there is time to read all entries.

~Poetry IS acceptable. It will be graded on a slightly different scale than the regular stories.

~Like I said earlier, you must submit a title to compete. Anyone can submit titles, and there is no limit to the number submitted. Just bear in mind that in the case of a surplus, not all titles will be used.

~Please dedicate your entry to the person who submitted the title. I will let you know who, unless they wish to remain anonymous. They deserve credit for their efforts. Unless it's me, then you don't have to because I feel selfish asking you for a dedication. I mean, you still can if you want to, but you don't have to. I don't think it's too much to ask for other people, though. Right?

~If you want your title to remain anonymous, tell me via PM. I plan to post a list of titles and Titlers at the end, so that they can get proper recognition, but if you don't want your name there, that's totally cool.

~Tag your story with thetitlingchallenge2014 so that we can easily find entries by searching. We can be like one happy unified group. I know it's long, but I have faith in you!
