Ch 4

I was walking to our jeep when a girl I saved yesterday came running my way . I was a little tired but at the sight of her my mood changes . I got this feeling of excitement and I wonder why.

Something about her is definitely off.

"May I help you? "I tried to act as if her presence annoys me.key word tried.

"I....uh..I just wanted to say sorry for yesterday "she said shyly. I can't help but smile to myself. Vampires are known for being arrogant but this girl is shy.

"It's fine " I said still smiling .

"Why did you do it anyway? "She said confidently.

"I really don't know "there goes the truth. I truly don't know. It was my wolf who acted and he also don't know  why.my wolf said it felt obliged to do it.

"Ok"

"You don't smell like a vampire "I blurted out.

She laugh a little " That's because Michael and our uncle got me some kind of spray to disguise my scent"

As she said that she took a cloth and rub it around her neck. Just then an amazing scent hit me hard.it took my breath away and my eyes widen and widen even further if possible realisation came in.

Mate.mine.

These were the words that escaped my mouth. My mate is standing right in front of me. Not just anyone but she happen to be a vampire.

"Are you okay Daniel "I look up at her. Am I okay? Yes I'm okay. My mate is here.

"Jah....I ...um " shit. I am now stuttering " do you feel it? "

"Feel what?"she asked but I know she get what I'm talking about.

"You know what I'm talking about "

"I....yes "she said finding her feet interesting. Somehow she look sad.

"Why do you apply the spray again? "I asked now looking at her straight in the eyes. Was I blind before or what. This  girl is actually every men dream woman.

"Michael and my uncle said it's for my protection"

"Protection from what? "

"Your kind"

"We're not the beasts you vampires thinks we are " I kind of yell and she flinch a little. She is so fragile for a vampire.

"I'm sorry "I said not wanting to see her scared of me.

"Are you.....um going to  ....reject me?"she asked clearly on the verge of tears.it some how broke my heart.

"Hey....hey " I move to cup her face and make her looks at me " I will never....ever reject you"

"A....re you se...riouse? "

"I'm dead serious mate " I chuckle at the thought and she manage to smile. I pull her into a hug and we were enjoying it until one freaking voice boomed out.

"Get your filthy hands or may I say paws off of my sister "Michael said walking hurriedly at  us.

"Micheal. ..."I realise I don't even know my mate's name.

"Don't you dare touch my brother "well shit . Damien is also here . This is definitely  not how I want this to go.

"Michael. ..."I started as he get closer and pull his sister to himself "I will never hurt her"

"Because you'll be dead if you did "Michael hissed at me.This guy will sure be a problem.

"Kill my brother and I will kill your entire family "Damien growl "starting with her"

I don't know how we end up having protective brothers .what my brother said get me growling and my wolf was like pacing around.

"Danny"my mate just shortened my name and it calm me down. "It's ok"

"Danny? "Micheal and Damien all said together.

"No no no " Damien started "you don't get to call my brother some stupid names "

"You don't shout at her " Michael hiseed. Does this guy gets tired of hissing.

"This my territory....you don't talk to me like that " Damien was using his alpha tone now. Great. Just great.

"Um...guys "I started but Micheal shut me up.

"Shut up mutt "again he hissed at me and to my surprise his sister hissed at him which make him look at her. "Elizabeth are you ok "

Lisa

"Elizabeth "opps. I said it loud than.

"Micheal. ..."Lisa started "Let's just go now"

"You...." Katherine interupt pointing at Michael "listen to your sister and you two in the jeep now"

"I'll get you one day " Damien said seriously.

"I hope that one day I'll kick the hell out of you " Michael

"I would like to see you try"

"Could you two just the hell up " I shout annoyed at them . I turn to look at my beautiful mate "until next time beautiful "

She blushed at that .

"There won't be...."

"Shut up....will you " Lisa did to her brother and took off.

"Hey. ...come here "Michael started after his sister.

Well I guess it's just me and my brother and his mate.

"Beautiful? Seriously? "Damien shook his head in disbelief "please tell me you're not into vampires "

"Keep quiet Damien "Katherine said and turn to me " is it?"

I know what she meant . Katherine might have been observing more than my brother who wanted nothing but fight.

"Yeah"

"Is it what?"Damien really doesn't have a clue.

"Elizabeth is my mate "issues sigh.

Damien hit the brakes and shout.

"What!"he added "please tell me you're joking "

"Is don't even wish I am " I said truthfully.

"Good that we get to get second choice mate "he said as if relieved.

"I'm not rejecting her "

"What?"

"She's mine and will forever be"
