Ch 7

"Dude. ..where are you going in such a hurry? "Damien asked as I pass him jogging.

"There's a reason we have a democracy "I joke and he only looks at me seriously  "jeez...Damien seriously....I'm just going somewhere "

"May I come along? "

"No man.....I have to go alone "I don't like lying to him but he left me no choice.

"Tell me what's wrong Daniel "Damien sighed " You're behaving weird these days"

"Cover for me " I said as I move to the doorknob "I'll tell you later "

I took the jeep and sped off quickly before anyone showed up and ask many questions. I got to my destination quicker than I thought and waited . I waited until it had been half an hour.maybe she's not coming and I'm here for nothing.

Would you relax' my wolf growl

'If only it.....'

"You don't  think I'll come?"Lisa said stepping from behind the tree.

"If thought you forgot me " I admitted. That's exactly what I thought.

"Sorry"

"It's ok " I reassure her " as long as your brother doesn't show up....We're good"

"Michael is not really that bad Daniel "she defended him " it was your brother who kept pushing him"

"Why is he so protective of you that much " I said getting closer to her " you can also watch your back"

"Long story "was all she said.

"I'm sure we have enough time"

"The thing is...I'm not like Micheal or other vampires "she looked at me for any reaction but got nothing.

She took a deep breath before starting again.

"My father once dated a human and got her pregnant and I was the offspring or whatever they called me and my mother actually died giving birth to me . Some people call me a dhampir or something. I don't really care anymore. I don't  match the strength of my brother and others although some vampires seem scared of me"

"Some members of the clan wanted to get rid of me long a ago but thanks to Michael and dad back then I'm still alive and well."she finished.

"How can your brother protect you against a hundred years old vampire ?"I asked like I missed something.

"Micheal is naturally strong "she stated " so far I haven't seen him defeated yet and I don't think he will be soon"

"About human blood inside you...."I hesitated a second "you don't need blood for survival? "

"I don't really find the need but to reach my full potential and watch my back as you say"she looks at me " I'll need blood"

"It's fine and yes " she said and sigh " I've drank blood before but it had been a time now plus Micheal don't let me"

"Oh!"

"Yeah..Oh " she laugh. Her laughter are so angelic "enough of me now...what is there to know about you than your name Daniel"

"Apart from Daniel I'm the wolf boy " I said laughing and she only rolled her eyes.

"Okay...There's nothing really much to tell like your story "I said getting to the point "I live with my two brothers.,Damien you know him and Alex my brother from another mother. "

"Hobbies? "

"What hobbies could a werewolf possibly have other than fighting "I stated laughing.

"True " she agreed " any um...you know. ..relationship? "

"Currently dating two girls and....."

I couldn't finish my word cause she's already starting to leave.

"I'm kidding. ...I'm kidding "I'm said pulling her to me " No girl was pretty enough to get my attention but now I'm standing right up to a gorgeous woman worth my time "

"R....re..ally? "She stutter holding her breath.

"Lisa " I took a deep breath "You're my mate,meant to be mine and loved. You're who you are and it's you I'm interested in"

"It's not funny Daniel "she complained.

" Not funny cause I'm not making jokes " I said seriously "You're my other half Lisa and if it meant giving up my life to keep you happy than I'll gladly do that"

"Daniel I. ...."

"Lisa...."what must I say to convince her . ugh. "Look...You're my love,the light of my darkness and the joy of my sorrow and I couldn't get anyone better than you"

"I love you "she mumble but I heard her right.

"I love you too my lady "I said back.

"What about our parents? How do we break it to them?"she started to panic "Micheal. ...I can't lose him"

"I won't give you up cause others don't approve of our relationship Lisa "I cupped her face " I'll go to any extent to be with you "

She hugged me tight and I mean more tight like I'm going to vanish.

"I'm scared of losing you " she said not letting go.

"I promise I'll find a way for us to be  together babe "I  rub her back.

"I'm don't know if this is too early but I'll forever love you "

"Cheers to us than " I laughed.

"Cheers"

We spent the next hour talking about things and how to break the news to our parents especially mine but I made her a promise and I'm not a man to break  promises.

We finally break it up and head to the pack and her to her clan.
