Ch 14

"Um...guys,relax and take deep breaths "I said "and say what you have to tell"

" Relax?"Micheal scoffed "I don't think you'll want to relax after what I saw"

"What do you mean 'I '? "Damien glare at Michael "it was me who saw them first "

"Actually it was me who saw them " Michael said " all you did was smell them"

"This can't be happening again "I mutter to myself at how stupid they are right now.

" So what? "Damien yell.

" So. ...."

"Shut up both of you " I said now annoyed " now I want to hear what got you worried "

No one said anything.

" unbelievable "I said "you came here to say something now no one have the guts to talk?"

" You said we must shut up " they murmurs in unison.

" Are you serious right now "

" What happened Michael? "Lisa asked her brother.

" when we were um....fighting  in the woods when  we spot the vampires "Micheal began " Somehow they didn't notice us earlier and they seems to had been watching us for some time now"

" I always had a feeling someone was watching me " I admitted.

" Why would they be watching us?"Katherine asked confused a little.

"I don't think we're the targets but Daniel and his mate "Michael eyed us seriously "it seems like someone had been keeping tabs on you guys"

I ran a had in my hair and sigh out loud enough.

"So the vamps are from your clan? "I asked Michael straight "you know them?"

" I know them.....but not from our clan " he walk up to me "those guys earlier are  the elite team of the councils "

" Shit " I curse.

" Yeah shit "Micheal said " I knew you'll put my sister in trouble one day"

" You're not helping "I said.

" And who said I want to?"This guy irritates me "now I'm left with no choice but to side with you"

" We always had a choice "Lisa said "you can walk out now before the councils are fully involved "

" They're already fully involved "Damien said gaining our attention "I don't think you guys get the situation you're in right now"

" Daniel you heard what dad told you "I wonder how he knows of our conversation "you know the councils will do anything to keep you guys apart.....either one of you die or both of you lose your lives in the process. ...your choice"

"I think it's best if we go tell your parents guys " kat said "they might have something to say "

" Right "I agree with her " you should do the same babe "

" I'm the only one who can support you in our clan " Michael said still not happy " she got no one else to tell "

"Your uncle can....."

"Our uncle can nothing "Micheal hissed "in fact he will even try to hand you over to the councils himself "

"Stupidity run in the family than " Damien smirk.

" I'll killyou if you even dare insult my family again "

" bring it on dead boy "

" even now you guys are going to keep up with that? "I asked them. "Don't you get tired of fighting over silly things"

" Let's get going Daniel "Damien pull me to his side " the councils could be making out a plan right now"

I quickly move to hold Lisa before Micheal drag her away from here . I pull her into the  hug a kiss her forehead.

" Be assured that no matter what happen my heart will always beat for "I cup her face and peck her lips " I've waited for you for years and I'm not about to let you go just because some guys don't approve  and nothing can ever be able to replace you "

" I'll hold on to you Daniel "Lisa said through shaky lips " I'll always love you"

" are we really listening to this "Micheal said not having a time " can we save the romance for some other time "

"I'll come for you " I said and let her arm go.

We quickly went to get our jeep in the school parking lot and head home. From what dad had told me and what I  know. I knew this was going to happen but it just came sooner than I expected. It  was bound to happen but it happens when I'm not even a little ready . I guess life is never fair.

As we came near the house I felt like something is wrong. I felt uneasy.

"Is everything okay? "Damien asked Alex as we stepped out of the car. Alex didn't waste any time he tackle me into a bear hug.

" Um. ..A. .lex "I said out of breath "can't. .breath "

" Alex, what's happening "Damien asked again.

" the councils called "he said and I rush inside the house.

If the councils called than its not a good thing.

"Dad...."I trailed of as I saw the condition of my mother "mom..."

" the councils already know son "dad said with a pained expression "they called an hour ago "

" I know "I said and look at mother " mom. ...you have to stop crying now"

" my boy Daniel "she sobbed "please make the right choice "

" Right choice? "I asked now looking at dad.

" the councils gave you a chance "he started " for everything to remain as it was all you have to do is reject your mate"

"Dad we already had this conversation "

" I'm not telling you what to do Daniel "he said and I nod "just know that I'll always support you...no matter what "

"Thanks dad "I hug my parents and it last for a minute before I pull back "Now what? "

"I'm sorry to say this but with your decision. ...you and your girlfriend are now on the run "

" so I need to pack and leave "

" You're only taking a backpack "dad said "put in only the necessities and don't bother with the documents. ...I'll get you ones "

" like now?"I'll asked confused.

" It's now or never"

With that said.I hurry to my room and put some of my things in my small backpack. I put in some cash I had and hurry thinking of going to get my mate.

When I came downstairs what I saw surprised me.

There she stood and her brother Michael glaring at every possible person in the room.

"Lisa? "

" Daniel !"she exclaim.

Well than I don't have to go at her house than.

But how did she get inside  here...and why?
