Ch 17

Just as Damien jump on top of the guy I'm guessing is the leader,three more men came in from behind the trees but two or them were not vampires, they were wolves.

'These guys are wolves 'Alex mind link us frowning in his form as he look at the guys who had now shifted into their wolf forms.

'The councils is made up of vampires, werewolves and...'

" concentrate you idiots "Micheal hissed at us as he twisted the neck of some guy who was sneaking up on Damien.

We didn't even realise we were just standing mind linking until then.

We continue our fight and Lisa was behind me all the time.She didn't have to do anything. Everyone here seemed to take her safety  their first priority.

The fight lasted for about half an hour and the last guy to be killed was literally torn into shreds by Michael and Damien. Michael held the guy saying it was his man while Damien was only growling cause he couldn't speak out in his form.

After that we shifted back and wore some clothes.

" The next time I made a move to someone you better back off vamp "Damien growl at Michael as he put on basketball shorts.

" he was mine you idiot "Micheal hissed.

" Seriously? you guys are fighting over who should have the last kill?"I asked looking between them " there's something more important to think about "

" You're right " Alex agreed while Damien and Michael only shrug "since we just killed their men....There's a possibility they will send more men"

" There's no possibility "one of our best warriors said "It's official that you're now a threat and you'll be only taken dead"

I gulp at that although I was expecting it.

" Guys look. ...."I don't want them to get in trouble because of me " this is my fight and my mate....and I don't want to get you more in trouble "

" Daniel we....."

" He's right "Lisa agreed " let us continue from here"

" look who's talking " Damien scoffed "you can't even fight yourself. ...Heck you can't even kill an ant"

" You don't talk to my sister like that " Michael defended while Damien only muttered 'whatever 'and kept quiet for now.

" You guys can back out now and go home "I said " we've had gone far enough to handle this"

" I'm not leaving you "Damien said stubbornly .

" You have to "I said looking him in the eyes and he looks down.I have never seen him this sad though "chill out bro. ...I'm not dying anytime soon"

" Yeah " he said and look at Lisa " I don't really hate you like that brother of yours. ...so try to look out for each other "

"The feeling is mutual "Michael said smiling while Damien only growl.

" I will "Lisa said "just don't kill each other please "

" I'll try not to "Damien eye Michael almost like a snake ready to strike.

" 'I'll try not to'"Michael mimic while we only laughed.

" I don't know how you guys put up with these two but I'm going to try " Alex said referring to the two idiots.

" Trust me. ...those two together are a complete headache "I grinned as they act like they are not listening.

Michael came up to me and Lisa once Alex had talk to us.

" Lisa "he breath out and his face soften "please don't get yourself killed "

"I'll miss you "

" same here sis "Micheal admitted  and turn to me"you know I don't hate you like that idiot right?"

I chuckle at that and nodded  while Damien release a low  growl.

"Please take care of my sister "Michael pleaded with his eyes "look out for her even if it means loosing your life"

" What the....."

" I promise " I said cutting of Damien from whatever he wanted to say.

We exchange our goodbyes and I turn to my mate and squeeze her shoulder as I pull her into a hug.

" we'll be okay "I said trying to make her feel better although I don't believe it myself.

" I hope so " she let our a breath " I really hope so"

" Let's go before the councils decided to show up again "I said and pull her a little closer to me.

We decided to not take a car as it will be risky as the councils could sneak up on us without us noticing.

I know the road out of the pack is nearby so we could get a lift from the passers.

" I'm tired "Lisa whined as she stop and lean on a tree resting her soft hands on her knees " Let's have a break"

" for a vampire you got pretty tired so fast " I chuckle as she made a face at my comments.

" I'm still a woman "she protest "we can't be compared to you guys"

" True but we had to keep on going babe " I said and she groan out.

" I'm comfortable here " she drop on her butt.

" we have to get going before the councils catch up with us Sweety " I sweet talk her and it was working until someone interupt our peace.

" too late " he said and before I could turn around, something hit me hard on my head and I turn around to look at my attacker who happens to be six foot tall with the leather jacket and jet black short cut hair.

The last thing I heard were the screams from Lisa calling my name as she was held by another guy.

Soon, blackness took over my vision. I couldn't nor here anything but I promise, when I wake up, they better had not touch my mate or else someone's head will be disconnected from their head.

That's not a threat, it's a promise.
