ch 6

We raced to town as we live in the woods. Damien and his mate ride in the jeep while Alex and I took a red agera.

Of course we beat them to the mall.

"You'll never win brother "Alex laughed as Damien stepped out of the jeep.

"Maybe I would have won if someone wasn't trying to hit the brakes "Damien said referring to Katherine.

"Street racing is a crime which I didn't want to be part of "she said in her defence.

"Oh.....c'mon sister in law "I teased "you don't have to be against everything in life "

" Call me sister in law again and  I'll make sure to break your jaws " she threatened.

"You wish "I scoff " I can take you down without breaking a sweat "

"You wish " she laugh a little "not when my mate is here"

"He's my brother sis in law "

"He's my mate " she said a little louder . Katherine is easy to pissed off.

"To us brotherhood comes first "I said a moving away from her.i don't want to be near her in case she happen to a punch.

"You idiot "she said trying to get a right comeback but failed "He's my mate , my life and soon to be his wife"

At that we all started laughing at her.she looked at me and back to Alex and Damien who were on the ground laughing.

She was clearly not enjoying this cause looking into her eyes I saw tears forming.

I move closer to her and pull her into a  hug. "Hey I'm sorry kat " I rub her back soothingly.

"You idiots. .....shut up " I said to my brothers who were still unaware of the situation .

"My own mate is laughing at me " she sobbed.

"Sweetheart I ......"

"Don't sweetheart me " she said although I can clearly she likes it.

"Don't worry kat "I said holding back a laugh "you I was only kidding "

"Come here babe " Damien pull her to him " you don't get to console my mate "

"Is little luna crying "Alex laughed at her.

"Shut up Alex "damien said although he also laugh a little.
Seriously it was funny to watch.

"Just keep quiet all of you and let's get to the mall "she said pulling herself together.

"Wow!Our future luna is so strong "Alex said dramatically making us laugh again.

"Oyeah? " she raised the eye brow "wait until I tell your parents "

"We're sorry! !"we shouted all together. Mom and dad like Katherine and will seriously punish us if they get to know we made fun of her.

"Just what I thought "

"You're no fun"

"Tell me more something new"

We went in and started shopping. Katherine purposely bought lot of things just to punish us with her bags.At the time we were done it was mid afternoon already.

"Let's grab something to eat boys "Katherine said only carrying her purse while we're having five of her bags each.

"You guys go on " I said "I'll catch up with you later"

"Where to?"

"Nature calls "

"Make it quick "Damien said not happy that I'm giving him his mate's shopping bags " this things are killing me"

"Aww! Is my mate crying "

"Not funny kat "Damien said annoyed

I quickly took off running wanting to be as far as possible from kat and her bags.

I don't know why but for some reason my wolf kept on pushing foward also .I didn't give it a thought or asked my wolf until I bump into her.

Lisa.

I started to smile like an idiot.
"Sorry....I wasn't looking " she said a little shy.

"Actually ....it was my fault "i move a little closer to her..."You never fail to look beautiful "

"Th...thanks? " she blushed and tried to cover it with her hair.

"You really look cute "it said locking her hair behind ears."look at me"

She look at me and I smile at how hard she was blushing.

'Mate is smoking hot'

'If that was all you could say....bye'i blocked out my wolf before I heard him yell.

"Are you here alone? "

"No.....my brother is here some where"

"Can you ditch him a little "I asked with pleading eyes.she bit her bottom lip thinking about it.

"Yeah let's just make it quick "she said looking around "it don't want my brother to flip"

We started walking quickly towards a cake and bought something to eat.we talked about lots of things and even share phone numbers.

"I really had to go " Lisa suddenly said.

"It's ok "it said although inside my wolf was screaming for me not to let her leave.

"It's was good talking to you really "inside can see she also don't want to leave but we had to think of others too.

"Same here " I mumble but with her vampire ability she hears it.

She left me thinking hard.how am I supposed to tell my parents that my mate is a vampire. How will they take it.what ever it is I'll always love my mate.No matter what.i was thinking hard to an extent that I didn't see my brother coming up .

"Dude....you ditched us to come here? "Damien said a little disappointed.

"I ....uh...um " what the heck?Did they saw Lisa. No way.

"What are you even doing here? "

"Nothing "

" it doesn't look nothing to me " Damien said annoyed "Let's go from here....We were leaving "

We walk to our cars and Alex came to meet up with us.

"Where were you man "Alex started " I thought those suckers got you"

He saw them?my eyes widen a little.

"Michael and his sister were here?"Damien asked looking at me.

"Don't look at me"

"Were you with the girl? "

"I didn't know she was here " I lied.

"I wish I could believe you " Damien wave him off " this is too much of a coincidence "

"Can we just get out of here"kat complained " you can talk once you get home"

"He's my brother we're talking about here " Damien said a little angry.

"Damien. ..I'm not five " I said annoyed at him " besides we're twins which mean we all have the same strength "

"Maybe you haven't noticed but you look fragile and vulnerable most of the time Daniel "he try to reason.

"Damn Damien "Katherine hissed " He's not a girl man besides that girl won't hurt him"

"Let's get going "Damien I'm ignore them.

We race back home and Damien won because he was driving like a complete maniac.

I never thought my brother cared much about me but he's too protective. I thought as I enter my room.
