Rose tried to be happy for Bucky's sake, she really did. But deep down, she was mourning. In her heart although she didn't want to admit it, she knew there was a chance he would not return to her.
Sighing at the thought, Rose applied the last swipe of her signature red lipstick and grabbed her purse before heading out of the house to Howard Stark's Expo where she's be meeting Bucky and Steve.
"Bucky!" Rose yelled out to the man who was already walking towards her with a giant grin. Grabbing her by the waist the man lifted her off the ground spinning her around before gently putting her back down, an arm snaking around her waist.
"Hi, doll" he whispered breathlessly, leaning into Rose's hand as she wiped some of her red lipstick from his lips.
"Hi, Steve" Rose grinned, letting go of Bucky who groaned in disappointment to hug Steve who's face had paled at the sight of the two's physical display of affection.
"Shall we?" the blonde spoke, pulling Bucky and Steve towards the crowd surrounding the stage where Howard Stark was revealing his latest invention.
