Chapter 2

«Your Pov»

I'm still at my cave, and I don't plan on going back to that castle. They lied to me, they knew how important Jimin was to me and yet they told me he died because of humans, while in reality, he's out there, alive.

"I need to see him...I need to find him"I muttured to myself.

"(Y/n)! Why did you call me?" Sera asked me as she swam beside.

"They lied..."I said and she looked at me cofused.

"What?" She asked.

"My parents. They lied to me about Jimin. I heard them talking about him and I heard them that he's still alive and now he's living as a human. Can you believe that?" I explained said and she looked shock.

"Are they aware that you already knew about it?" Sera asked me and I shook my head.

"No and I don't think they have a plan on telling me. I need to see Jimin, I need to know how is he. But I don't know how. I don't even know how.." I said and sighed.

"I know something that could make you see your brother again" Sera said and I looked at her.

"Really?"I asked her and she nodded.

"In order to look for him, you need to become a human" She said and my eyes widened.

"What?! That's impossible!" I said.

"Well not for your brother. He turned human, remember?" Sera said.

"But how can I turn into a human?" I said.

"I know someone who can make you turn human. Don't worry he's not bad. He's a merman, but he live as a human. I can contact him now if you want. So? What do you say?" Sera said.

"If that's the only way to see my brother again, then yes. Please contact him" I said and she nodded and closed her eyes. Few minutes later she opened her eyes and smile.

"He'll be here anytimesoon. So be ready" Sera said.

"That fast?" I asked and she nodded.

To tell the truth I'm a bit nervous about this. I wonder how my parents will react to this. Well it doesn't matter anymore.

"Is this going to be dangerous?"I asked Sera who shook her head.

"No. Don't worry he's not like Ursula who used your great grandmother"Sera said. My great grandmother was Ariel, she was once a mermaid, but then she chose to stay human and lived with her one true love.

Her grandson, her daughter's son, which is my dad chose to stay here in the sea and rule. Like my grandmother.

Some of our people say I look like my great grandmother, because of hair and eyes.

"Are you sure?" I asked Sera again and she nodded.

"Yes. Oh he's here" Sera said and looked at the entrance of the cave. Guess it's not a secret cave anymore.

I turned around and saw a merman swimming in and stopped infront of us. He smiled at us.

"Hello Sera and Princess (Y/n)"He said and bowed.

"Ah! No need to bow. Please just call me (Y/n)" I said to him.

"I'm Namjoon. Kim Namjoon. I'm once a merman, but I live now like a human for five years."Namjoon said.

"Wow. That long?" I asked and he nodded and he looked around.

"Is this your cave? You have many things of humans"He said as he look around.

"Yeah. It's kinda my habit now. Whenever I see some lost things of humans I always bring it here. And of course Sera sometimes help me too" I said.

"I see...." Namjoon said.

«No One's Pov»

​​​​​Namjoon was still looking around when he saw something. A hat that has green and red stripes and beside it, has a picture.

'Wait...Is this Taehyung's lost hat? Wait....there's a photo of him beside the hat...' Namjoon thought and looked at You.

"Um, if you don't mind me asking this. But where did you find this?"Namjoon asked you while pointing out the picture and the hat.

"Oh that. I found the hat floating around, while I'm looking for some decoration for my cave. And Sera found that Picture. I have a feeling that the hat probably belongs to that boy in the picture" You said.

'You don't know him and yet...you got it right.' Namjoon thought.

"I understand. Back to the topic, is there any reason why you want to become a human, princess?" Namjoon asked you.

"You see, I want to become a human because I heard from my parents that my brother is now living as a human. My parents lied to me about him dying from the humans hand and it's been three years since I saw him. So I want to find him and see how is he." You explained.

"May I ask what is his name?" Namjoon asked you.

"Jimin. Park Jimin" You said and Namjoon eyes widened.

'Jimin has a mermaid sister?! So that means, he's a merman too? I need to talk with him about this' Namjoon thought.
