Chapter 29

«No One's Pov»

You closed your eyes thinking that you'll die, but you didn't and so You opened your eyes and by everyone's surprise, you're still alive.

"Wha-How..I..." You stuttured. You couldn't speak properly.

"Wh-WHY DIDN'T YOU DIE?! ONCE YOU SAID THOSE WORDS TO HIM YOU SHOULD BE DEAD!" Seojun yelled in shock.

"Well, just like you said before, Taehyung is like (Y/n) meaning she didn't confess to a human but to a merman. A rare merman like her" Yoongi said. Sae Eun looked at Taehyung.

"Brother...I finally found you" Sae Eun said and you looked at her.

"He's your lost brother?" You asked and she nodded as she cried silently.

"What a coincidence and a reunion too! The brother and sister are here again together! Too bad that the reunion will be short" Seojun said.

"Sister?" Taehyung muttured.

'I need him to let her go. This is the only chance that Sae Eun could be reunited to her brother. I need to let her escape!' You thought as you try to come up with a plan, but there wasn't enough time so you  quickly pushed Seojun off of Sae Eun, but the knife that Seojun was holding went through your stomach making you fall too.

"(Y/N)!!!!" Taehyung and the others yelled.

Yoongi, Namjoon and Jin held Seojun down so he can't escape.

"Let me go!!" Seojun said and tried to escape, but it was no use.

"Not letting you escape this time. You're done now Seojun. It's over" Namjoon said.

Taehyung and the rest went beside you. Taehyung pulled you close to him.

"(Y/n), please don't close your eyes" Taehyung said and you looked at him with a tired expression.

"She's safe now. You- you can have your sister again" You said.

"You sacrificed yourself, for me?" Sae Eun asked and you slowly nodded.

"Of course. You told me that you've been looking for your brother for so long now. You deserve to be with him again" You said and you coughed blood.

"Enough talking (Y/n) save your strength. We'll get you out of here" Taehyung said and you shook your head.

"I already know that I won't make it. The knife went deep" You said and Taehyung shook his head.

"No! Don't say that! You'll be ok, you'll live." Taehyung said.

"We need to get the knife out of her, if it stays there for too long-"

"Then get it out!" Taehyung shouted. Sera pulled the knife out, making you hiss. She then covered the wound with some magical seaweed.

"This should slow the bleeding, it has some magic to slow the bleeding, but we need to go. We need to treat her wound quickly" Sera said.

"I don't think I'll make it alive. You guys should go" You said.

"Stop saying things like that! We will get you out of here. Please, don't lose hope" Taehyung said. It scared him. The way you talked.

"Don't worry. I'm not leaving you forever. I'll be always by your side, even if you can't see me anymore. I  love you, Tae..." You said and slowly closed your eyes.

"(Y/n), (Y/N)! NO PLEASE! OPEN YOUR EYES! PLEASE!!" Taehyung begged you and hugged you thightly while crying.

Jin, Namjoon and Yoong looked away while crying silently. Jimin was shocked. His sister just died right in front of him.

"No, (Y/n)!" Jimin said and cried. Jungkook and Hoseok hugged him while crying.

"No, She-she can't leave us like that. She...she needs to be alive..." Jimin said.

"This is all your fault!" Yoongi said made Seojun drank something and then fainted.

"What did you do?!" Jin asked in shock.

"I just gave him a sleeping potion. Should have gave him something more poisonus.." Yoongi said and the three of them tied Seojun.

"(Y/n)..." Taehyung muttured. Jin, Namjoon and Yoongi walked to his side.

"I know it's hard but we need to let go" Namjoon said and Taehyung shook his head and held you tightly. He didn't want to let you go. Not now, not ever.

"No! I don't want her to leave me. I-I need her in my life!" Taehyung said.

"I'm sorry but we can't do nothing.." Jin said sadly.

"There is a way!" Sae Eun said and all of them looked at her shock.

"What way?! Please tell me!" Taehyung said.

"Maybe the legend of the two tails can work" Sae Eun said.

"Legend of the Two Tails?" Jungkook asked.

"But that's just a legend! No one has ever done it before!" Sera said.

"But it's worth a try" Sae Eun said.

"I'm sorry, but what legend is this?" Hoseok asked.

" The legend says that if two merpeople have the same special tail, they can ask for a one wish but that wish can only come true if the two of them desired it they really want it. But if the two of them have a different wish, the wish will not be granted. I thought of that legend since the two of them have same tails and that maybe the wish can save (Y/n)'s life" Sae Eun explained.

"Well it won't hurt trying, right?" Jimin asked. Taehyung then looked at you and caress your cheek.

'Please, please make her alive again and put end her curse. Please, I love her so much...' Taehyung thought and kiss you.

Soon he broke the kiss and looked at you, but nothing happened.

Taehyung closed his eyes and hugged you tightly again.

"I'm sorry...I thought it'll work.." Sae Eun apologized.

"We all thought it was gonna work.." Sera said.

There was silent. No one dared to speak. It's very hard for them too. Their friend, sister and lover was gone forever
