Chapter 23

«Taehyung's Pov»

'Sacrifice my life?' I thought in shock.

"Are you serious?! That's not going to happen! There must be another way to break the curse! There's no way I'm letting my best friend die!" Jimin said.

"I'm sorry but it's the only way to break the curse. It's either he dies or her" Sera said.

"If Tae-hyung dies what will happen to (Y/n)?" Jungkook asked.

"She will be free from the curse. She may love a human, but we won't let Tae sacrifice his life" Jin-hyung said.

"I'll do it" I said with a serious face. The others looked at me in shock.

"What?! Are you out of your mind?! If you die, (Y/n) will be more hurt! Do you think if you die, she will be happy?" Jimin said and I looked down.

"I don't care if I die, at least I could do something for her to be free.." I said.

"Look. This isn't what (Y/n) want, ok? She will never be happy even if you break the curse? Why? Because she will lose the love of her life." Hoseok-hyung said.

'I know, but I'll do it anyway. For her freedom' I thought.

«Your Pov»

'Where are they? Did Sera went to them? I can't stand Seojun much longer. He's making me sick.' I thought.

"My love" I heard Seojun's voice.

'What does he want now?' I thought and looked at him.

"I'm just here to say that within three days we will get marry" He said and my eyes widened.

"What?!" I yelled. Three days?!

"No need to be surprised, my love. Remember you exchange yourself to save those useless things. You should be happy that I spared their useless lives instead of killing them" He said.

"I don't want to marry you! You're insane!!" I said and Seojun laughed.

"I wasn't asking your opinion and besides, wouldn't you parents be finally happy that their princess is going to be queen soon? After all, they have been waiting for you to have a King to be with" Seojun asked.

"Don't bring my parents on this situation! They won't be happy to know that their daughter is going to marry someone like you!" I said.

"Well they should be. It's not like they can do anything. They don't even know where you are, let alone that you're here with me. Don't worry, you'll love being my wife soon" Seojun said and left me all alone.

"Where are you going?! Come back here! Let me out from this hell!" I yelled, but I knew he didn't heard me, even if he did, I knew that he'd pretend not hear anything. I stared at my tail. It was the reason that caused my life a living hell.

"If my tails were normal, will I get a chance to be with the person I love? To be with him without pain?" I said to myself and sighed and looked at the window.

"Please, Sera hurry up. I don't havw much time, I don't want to marry him. All I want is to have a normal life with the person I love, with Taehyung. Please Sera, you are my only hope. Save me from this nightmare." I said and started to cry.

«Taehyung's Pov»

"Ok, well enough chit chat. Let's go now. We have our plan now." Sera said and we all went to the sea.

"You guys ready?" Namjoon-hyung asked. We nodded, but to tell the truth I was a bit nervous.

"We can go first" Yoongi-hyung said and all of them, except for me, Jungkook and Hoseok-hyung, they all transformed into mermens and a mermaid.

"Your turn. Just put the necklace" Sera said. We did and we transform into a merman. All of us went in the sea.

"Wow! I can't believe this is happening! I'm actually a mermaid!!" Hoseok-hyung said. Hoseok-hyung and Jungkook kept looking at their tails, to be honest I don't care what my tail looked like. All I want was to save (Y/n) and that's all the matter for me now.

Then I saw all of them looking at me with eyes widened.

"What is it? Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Did you saw your hair color! It's light blue! Your eyes is similar to (Y/n)'s eyes!" Jungkook said.

"Well you have different hair and eyes now too. And I don't think we should be focusing on our new appearance" I said to him.

"I think you should take a look of your tail, Tae" Yoongi-hyung said.

"What? Why?" I asked him.

"Just do it" He said and I finally looked at my tail and my eyes widened.

"Your tail is like (Y/n)'s tail, meaning. You're a special merman, like her"
