Guy tossed the sheets off the bed and ripped the arrow from the wall overhead. After that, he practically sprinted downstairs, rage and adrenaline coursing through his veins. His eyes grew dark, and his scowl was one of a wicked man. The maids cowered back in fear as Guy grabbed his sword and nothing else but that. Rounding the corner, he wearily made his way to his attacker. As he suspected, Robin Hood was there... as well as some peasants spectating.
With a scream of rage, Guy thrust himself into battle and swung his sword. Robin deflected it easily, rage flowing through him as well. Again and again Guy swung, only to hit metal once more. Guy swiped his sword at Robin's head and Robin ducked, punching Gisborne in the jaw. Guy staggered, before swinging his sword again. Robin deflected again, but with a little more trouble. When Guy went for Robin's neck, Robin grabbed Guy's arms and kneed him hard in the stomach. Guy fell to one knee, then fell to the floor as Robin punched him the jaw. Robin thrusted his sword down to Guy's head, and it was by pure luck that Guy blocked his killer blow. Guy boosted off the ground ran into Robin, trying to drive him into a wall. Robin kneed his stomach and punched his back, throwing him to the floor.
Now it was Robin's turn to strike. When Gisborne got back up, Robin threw Guy difficult shots to him, shots that Guy barely blocked. Then, Robin was able to get Guy to lose his sword, making him defenseless. Cursing, Guy retreated, grabbing a sack of spices and throwing it in Robin's face. When that didn't work, Guy ran to the town square -- no, literally, there was a square box in the town square, and that's where Guy went. Picking up a slightly large stick, Guy jumped on top of the box looking structure. He used the stick to defend himself, counter attacking Robin's shots. Often, Guy would try to knock off Robin, but Robin knew Gisborne's game. Guy continued to block and parry Robin's shots, almost taking his head off with the stick once.
Then the guards got involved. Two men ran to where Robin and Guy were fighting and attacked Robin. Swiftly, Robin turned around and fought one guard, slashing his back and kicking him before turning back to Guy. Jabbing his sword on the ground, Robin tripped Guy, kicking him off of the box. Then he dealt with the other guard.
Disoriented, Guy shook his head. Looking around desperately, he tried to find something that would through Robin Hood off. Guy looked straight ahead, and he saw a girl. She was small, about twelve or so, with copper hair and brown eyes, and freckles on her frowning face. Looking back, Guy was pleased to see that Robin was still dealing with the other guard. Running to the girl, he pushed everyone out if the way and flawlessly threw the girl on his shoulders, running away to the forest.
"Papa!" the girl cried.
Robin beat the guard and threw him to the floor. Looking to where Guy went, his eyes widened when he saw the girl being carried off. With a snarl, Robin followed Guy into the forest, the crowd close behind him.
"Papa!" the girl cried again when Guy was inside the forest, following a muddy trail and breathing hard.
"Where you gonna run to, Gisborne?!" screamed Robin, who was dangerously close now.
Guy ignored him and kept running hard, until he reached a cliff. Struggling to keep his balance, he looked over. It was a long drop, probably more than twenty-five feet or so, with waves that crashed into jagged rocks with brute force. Putting the girl down, he held a firm grip on her shoulders. Robin walked up to him, his bow in his hand and a look of madness on his face, much like Gisborne's.
