Chapter 10: Apology and Separate ways

Annie POV

I have nothing planned for ruining Eren's knew relationship, the heck I was happy he found someone prettier (also a bit jealous). Even though Jean had created an extravagant plan on sabotaging their relationship, I just wanted to talk to him. I have no intention of ruining their relationship and getting back with Eren. All I wanted to do was apologise but I don't know if he believes it. I walk over to my next class and sit down while getting ready for biology. Students are bustling around the class talking to friends and finding seats.

"Hey there" he says. I look around to find to find a blonde guy smiling.

"Me?" I ask after grabbing my books out of my bag.

"Yeah, sorry my name is Armin." Armin brought out his hand.

"Annie" I shake his hand.

"Well Annie, your first year or are you nearly finish?" He ask out of curiosity.

"I'm actually new" I say, momentarily dazed. Armin was a sweet boy who just tried to make me feel like I wasn't alone anymore. He was kind and caring.

We get along in class talking about jobs and what life has in store for us. I exchange numbers with his and then said goodbye after class was dismissed.

"Text me when we can hang" Armin walks off waving and smiling as he walks over to his friends. I quickly bring out my phone and send a text to Eren about the place where we could meet. I went back to my house and get ready to meet Eren at the park. 

I'll meet you at 5 in the Rose park -Annie 4:48pm 

I went out and locked the door and walked to the park since it wasn't that far away, only a few blocks away. I see a brunette sitting on a bench looking up at the sky as the wind blows his messy hair. A few kids were wondering around still playing in the sand and running around having the time of their life's. Wow wouldn't it be wonderful to be as care free as them instead of facing reality at it's worst. I was still daydreaming when a voice disturbed my thoughts.

"Hey" he says in a mono tone voice.

"Hey Eren." I look at him but he showed no notice to my arrival.

"Look the reason I wanted you to come was to say sorry for everything. Just heard me out! You don't have to ignore me, you can do that after we have this conversation" I said annoyed he wouldn't even face me.

Eren just stared at me with bewilderment. He couldn't find the right words to say so he just listened.

 I take a deep breath, "I know I hurt you, betrayed you and even broke the bond we had. I'm truly sorry and I mean it. After all that I done to you I just want someone best for you. When I look at the girl with the black hair, she just doesn't come off right and I just have a feeling." I said with an emotionless tone.

"That is none of your God damn business!" Eren retorts back. I hesitate but then spoke back.

"I know that's why I'm saying this. I want you to be happy but just make sure she is the one, okay?" I ask as I try to suppress my emotions from overflowing.

"Yeah yeah, what are you even doing in town anyways? Why here?" Eren ask trying to keep the conversation from getting any worse from all the built up anger.

"I just want to start anew like you are. Well... I guess that's really it. I just wanted to say sorry.. that's all" I say, I stated to walking away from the conversation until Eren pulls me into a hug.

"I do miss you..." as he hugs me tighter. My whole body tensed as he pulled me in for a hug but then I relaxed to his touch.

"Me too, I'm no longer worthy but make sure she is Okay?" I kiss him on the cheek and the walk away. "Goodbye Eren" on the verge of tears but I don't let any escape.

Eren kisses my hand while I look down not wanting to see his hypnotising eyes. Eren lets go and then walks in the other direction as I walk opposite, forever parting from our old relationship. Hopefully we can still be friends... Right?

As I walk I see a girl running away as her ravenous black hair flows behind her.

Mikasa?
