Chapter 3: Party at Mikasa's

Mikasa POV

Ever since I found out it was Eren was my new neighbour,  I couldn't stop thinking about him and those big bright teal-green eyes. I had talked to Armin about it because he was my best friend and we tell everything to each other. We've had so much fun the day before I couldn't stop thinking about it. All i did was search for the old piece of fabric that i had thrown in the storage ages ago. I looked through boxes and shelves before returning back into my living room with a red scarf in hand. 

#FLASHBACK#

"I'll miss you so much Eren, I don't want to leave my best friend" I had tears rolling down my face as i gripped onto Eren's shirt.

"Hey I'll come find you again someday! Right dad? We'll come find you and we can be reunited." he gave a sweet smile before holding my hand for me to let go. "Don't forget the promise we made each other okay Mika?" Eren sobbed as he hugged me with his arms.

"I'll never forget you"

#PRESENT#

What promise? I thought to myself trying to remember what is was that i kept years ago. I hold the red scarf closer to me and then lay the scarf on the coffee table. I went to have a shower and get out my outfit for the party tonight. I wore a red dress with jewellery and tied my hair into a nice bun with a red ribbon (Mikasa has shoulder length hair). 

After a while, people started to come over and the party began. Sasha and Connie were already at the snack table munching on anything they could see. Armin and Reiner were talking on the couch and Ymir and Christa were playing just dance. Music was pumping and everyone was having a blast, then the door rang. I quickly walked over to answer it.

"Hey I'm here!" Eren sung as he leaned on the side of the door. He was wearing  a red shirt and some black jeans.

"How come we always match outfits." I joked and let him inside.

"You look ahh..beautiful you know..." he laughed a little embarrassed and turned a little red.

"Awe thank you" I give him a warm smile as I felt my face go warm and tried to hide it by turning my head around.

"Well um anyways, everyone I'll like you to meet my old childhood best friend that actually moved two days ago next to me."

Everyone crowded around Eren to get to know him.

Eren POV

Mikasa looked so gorgeous.. wait should I say something. You know what go for it Eren you can do it! ...Okay why the hell am I giving myself a pep talk... what is happening to me.

"You look ahh..beautiful you know" I stuttered and blushed scratching my head and looking down. Why do I have to sound like a total idiot when I'm around her, doesn't make sense.

"Awe thank you" I saw her blush and show her beautiful smile that made a chill go down my spine. She then invited me in and introduced me to everyone.

"Hiyaa I'm Sasha and this is my boyfriend Connie." Sasha said in a cheery tone. They still had food in their hands but they managed to shake my hand. Sasha had brown hair and from the looks of it, loved food. Connie well has a buzz cut and probably gotten the habit of eating food with Sasha. "Well we're gonna continue demolishing all the food so byee!! Nice to meet youu." Connie had tried to talk but was muffled when Sasha shoved a potato in his mouth.

"Pfft potato girl." Connie had mumbled as he spat out the potato.

"I'm Christa and this is Ymir, it's nice to meet one of Mikasas old friends." she said in a sweet tone.

"I'm glad to meet all of her new friends." I held out my hand and we shook hands.

"Well it was nice meeting you Jaeger but we have Just dance to play." the other brown haired grabbed Christa hand and walked off, she seemed a bit jealous. Christa gave a small chuckle before getting dragged away by Ymir.

"Ahhhhh okayy." I was unsure of what just happened but then walked over to two blonde guys.

"Hey the names Reiner."

"I'm Armin nice to meet you! Don't worry about Ymir, she's very protective of Christa." he told me.

"Yeah that's why I can't seem to get to talk to Christa, I've been trying to ask her out for a while but Ymir always gets in the way.." Reiner muttered to himself.

"Don't worry you'll get your chance." Armin tried to comfort him but Reiner was still upset I chuckled a bit from the face Reiner made. "Anyways how do you know Mikasa?" Armin grinned asking.

"Oh well actually we known each other since we were 5, our parents introduced us and we'll we always bonded." I tell him.

"Awe that's lovely, she's my best friend so you better treat her right. OHHH ANDDDD you can take her out to luxurious dates!" he smirked and I turned bright red from what he said.

"I uhh well um yes she's beautiful and ahh everything like the most beautiful I've ever since but uhhhh we're just friends you know" I stuttered so many times I couldn't count or listen to how stupid I sounded.

"Sureee" he laughed and talked changed the subject.

After the drinking and the games, people eventually left by taxi or with a friend because of the multiple shots taken. I became close with Armin as if I known him my whole life. Both Mikasa and I went to say our final goodbyes and help out Armin with the drunk Reiner. Armin carried Reiner to his car as we said goodbye, Armin messaged Eren before leaving.

Go get her!! -Armin (11:47)

I stared at the message, going red from embarrassment and then quickly closed my phone before Mikasa could see.

We went back up to our floor and as I was about to say goodnight she interrupted, "Please stay with me... just for a little longer.."
