Chapter 2, Rudely interrupted

The "Glued Together" option ended up winning! So... here you go!

Jess' POV

We are all hanging around in the living room watching anime together while waiting for Adam to get back from wherever it is that he disappears to. Max, Ross, and me are all cosplaying as anime characters, Barney and Red seem confused as to what's happening, Shelby doesn't seem to understand either but she's smiling ear to ear, and everyone else is paying close attention to the anime so they don't miss any foreshadowing or secrets or anything similar. I get a weird feeling that I'm getting watched so I look around but don't see anything. I'm about to mention it to the others when Adam walks in the door. I pause the anime and run over to him, "Hey Adam! Where have you been? You're back later than usual." He looks at me, looks over at the others who are staring at him and waiting for an answer, sighs and stays quiet for a moment, then says, "I need to tell you guys something." I can tell everyone but Adam, me included, are trying not to smile at the thought that he's finally going to tell us what's been bothering him!

I grab Adam's hand then take him over to the couch and makes him sit down in front of it where he's facing us. I sit back down where I was next to Max and Ross and signal for Adam to say whatever it is he wants to say.

Adam's POV

Alright Adam you can do this! There's nothing to worry about! Except they might think you're crazy... and... they're staring at you like hawks... o-ok, enough thinking, I'm just going to get it over with! "Um... A while ago, I had a weird dream..." I tell them everything that happened in that strange dream from the powers, to be strange lady and sorcerers, to Jin dying, to that final battle I don't know the outcome of. "And I woke up thinking it was just a dream, but it wasn't! I have-" but before I could finish and tell them I have the power I had in the dream there's an explosion that knocks down one of the walls and we instantly all stand up to face them.

A bunch of people wearing animal masks and holding weapons like swords and throwing knives walk in and point their weapons at us. "Come with us now, anomalies!" One of them says, their tone of voice making it clear that they'll attack if we refuse. The others slowly look at the ground and start walking towards them but I fly straight into one of the guys and send him flying. I quickly push my friends towards the exit and we run as fast as we can to get away from there. Well, they run. I fly.

Those guys run after us but we quickly lose them in the nearby forest. Only to find out we're lost. "Um... guys... which way's home...?" Shelby asks while looking around. We all stop and look around for a bit and none of us recognize this place. Then Barney asks, "so... I suppose you were about to tell us you could fly before we interrupted?" Everyone looks at me and realizes I'm hovering above the ground. "Oh... uh... y-yeah." Jess suddenly says "Oh! When you asked for my advice a while ago was this what you wanted advice about?" I nod, stop flying, and they all smile at me. "Well, I'm glad you finally told us." Jin says. Then Red hugs me and starts bouncing up and down in excitement. "THIS IS SO COOL!" We all immediately shush him incase the guys who attacked us were nearby. "guys! I see a cave we can stay in for now!" Max says. He's sitting on a branch in a nearby tree and pointing towards the cave.

We all head to the cave and stay there for the night. Me and Jin cuddle, Max and Ross cuddle, Barney and Red cuddle, Shelby and Cory cuddle, and Jess sleeps near the entrance of the cave so she can keep watch for a while.
